I've spent 4 nights in this hotel while in Rome and can say only the best things about it!
It is perfectly located, just around the corner from the Spanish steps and a 3 minute walk from the Di Trevi fountain. It is also close to many others major sights (The Four Fountains, Piazza del Popolo, Piazza Navona, the Pantheon...) Because of it's central posittion it is perfect for city tours.
The staff inside the hotel are the best I have ever seen even though I've been to many bigger and more expensive hotels around the world. They are extremely polite and helpful and will do everything to make your stay memorable. Ask them for some sightseeing suggestions, they are well informed. I happened to be sick during one day and they helped us with everything we asked them without any hesitation.
Rooms are small, but not too small, the are just big enough. Also they have everything one can need and so does the bathroom. The only thing that can be added is the machine for boiling water and making tea/coffee. Rooms are pretty clean, too. A maid visits your room every day.
As far as the breakfast is concerned, there is not too much to choose from but one cannot stay hungry, that's for sure. The balcony at the top of the hotel (where breakfast is served during the summer) has a beautiful view on to the Vatican and St. Peter's Church.
Anyway, I had a wonderful time in Rome and this hotel has something to do with it for sure. I would definitely stay here again!
