“Very good location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

The hotel is located in a walking distance from the central termini metro station which is very convenient. The staff are nice. The breakfast is decent and the coffee is fantastic. There is restaurant close by called Pastaroma where we had the pasta there. The couple bed was made up from two single beds placed side by side and it was not that comfortable as the groove in the middle was kind of annoying.
The rooms are clean enough. Overall it is good budget hotel with fantastic location.

“A 2star place at best”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 October 2011

This is cheap, clean and location is ok (not really as rough as other reviews suggest). But breakfast was poor, it was noisy, lift was tempermental and the room was very basic (with dodgy tv) - all of which is forgivable for a hostel but not a 3star hotel. To be fair, EUR100/night for a double room in Rome is probably about 2star level anyway - but don't expect a place to come back to and relax after doing the tourist thing. Would rather pay an extra few euros and get a proper 3star hotel.

“Great location, comfortable room, very clean”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 October 2011

My husband and I stayed here last August during our first visit to Rome. Staff was accomidating, but certainly not overly friendly. Did speak very good English, so we had no problem there. Was very conveniently located, close to train station and close to some decent shops and restaurants. There was no air conditioning, but with the open window and fan, we were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were very basic but excpeptionally clean.
I thought breakfast was great. It was the standard hotel breakfast that you will get in any hotel in italy- pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee. They also had a small terrace where you can eat breakfast and although the hotel is on a busy street, it was quite quiet on the terrace and very relaxing.
The elevator was the only thing that was quite sketchy, so we just decided to hoof it and take the steps, which was totally fine.
We loved this place, and thought for the price that we paid, we couldn't have found a better value. Will defitiely come back the next time we visit Rome.

“Good Central Location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

Here is a breakdown of my ratings:

Service: The staff was very nice and helpful whenever we had questions. The elevator was broken the day we arrived and they offered to carry our bags to the 5th floor (though we didn't accept the offer... but we should have:)).

Value: No add'l comments.

Sleep Quality & Rooms: I would have given the rooms an average rating if there was air conditioning. The only reason we were upset about the A/C is because we were never aware of the fact that they didn't have AC. Rome has been unusually hot this September and we could not sleep during the evenings b/c of the heat and the noise from the street. Our room was facing a busy street and we had to keep the windows open to circulate the heat. I don't fault them for the noise on the street but for the fact that we had to leave the windows open. There was a small noisy fan to help circulate the heat as well. The bathrooms had no circulation so were always muggy and always had lots of condensation.

Cleanliness: Very Clean

Location: The location was great. The hotel was located approx 2 blocks from the central terminal of the metro, which is also where the train is located. We were able to get to all of the sites in minutes.

This would be a great hotel in the Winter, Spring and Fall!!!
