My husband and I stayed here last August during our first visit to Rome. Staff was accomidating, but certainly not overly friendly. Did speak very good English, so we had no problem there. Was very conveniently located, close to train station and close to some decent shops and restaurants. There was no air conditioning, but with the open window and fan, we were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were very basic but excpeptionally clean.
I thought breakfast was great. It was the standard hotel breakfast that you will get in any hotel in italy- pastries, fruit, cereal, yogurt, juice and coffee. They also had a small terrace where you can eat breakfast and although the hotel is on a busy street, it was quite quiet on the terrace and very relaxing.
The elevator was the only thing that was quite sketchy, so we just decided to hoof it and take the steps, which was totally fine.
We loved this place, and thought for the price that we paid, we couldn't have found a better value. Will defitiely come back the next time we visit Rome.
