we went to Rome from 4-9 January 2012 and stayed at this hotel. the room was small, but it's worth the price. "don't expect a steak when you order burger". the staffs are friendly and really helpful. you have a door which can be open which allow us to smoke and you also can hang your clothes outside if you want to wash your clothes. :)
the elevator only fits maximum for 2 person. we chose to use the stairs instead. we should have had simple breakfast in the morning, but we did not take it because you can find many affordable restaurants nearby with very delicious taste. one thing a bit bothered us is the wall papper in some parts already been ripped. but it was fine for us.

We spent four days here in Febuary and it was our second time in this hotel. It is fine for a cheap central hotel where you can walk in safety to most of Rome's sites. Rome can be expensive but there are a few more resonably priced restaurants and bars close by. We also found the staff and the cafe downstairs helpfull.

The hotel is conveniently located near the Stazione Termini and close to many good trattorias frequented by locals. The room was clean and adequate but no frills. You have to walk up a flight of steps to get to the lobby. The elevator starts ar the lobby level but can be inoperative if too many pile into it. Basically at 75 euro per night it was a good value compared to the more pricey hotels in the city.The staff was friendly and helpful in arranging a taxi to the airport at a few euro more than the train.

First, the worst place you can ever stay in while visiting Rome is this area where the hotel located, Termini.
Second, it is not a hotel, it's a wierd place. The rooms are extra small, not dirty to be honest, just in front of the hotel lies a strip club.
Third, the transportation from the hotel is really bad, no near metro, the buses are very complicated to understand from this area.
Avoid Termini area and avoid this hotel!
