We stayed 4 nights at the Residenza A. It is in a great location (scores of restaurants and shops up and down the main street and the side streets, and walking distance to the Villa Borghese, the stop for the open-air bus tour and not too far to the nearest metro stations if you're a walker). Loved haviing a desktop computer with free internet in the room. There is a cute elevator servicing the hotel (with a bench and doors that you manually close in order to activate the hotel). The hotel's front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was fine at the cute indoor/outdoor cafe next door. We stayed in room XXL - 2 beds - one in the main room and then the second in a little alcove. There was no view from our room (other than what appeared to be a loading and/or trash enclosure area for the building next door) so we tended to keep the light curtains drawn, but I really didn't mind even though I am usually quite the hotel/view snob. The room itself was appealing - very clean and modern with a nice bathroom (though it could have used more shelves or storage areas), and loved, loved, loved (did I mentioned loved) the Bvlgari bath products. We did hear the sound of the shower next door a couple of mornings and voices in he hallway a couple of times. I am told that the soundproofing varies from room to room. This is a boutique hotel in every sense of the term. It is not for the person seeking the big hotel or chain experience. It is one of a kind, very personal and we enjoyed our stay here very much.
