“Prefect Location, Value for money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 February 2012

We stayed here in January 2012 for 4 nights and had a brilliant stay. The room was secure, modern and clean and serviced every day. The location is fantastic for all the Rome sites. We were able to walk to the Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, Piazza Navona, Campo de fiori and the Metro station is just up the road. The breakfast every morning was a perfect start to the day and they serve great coffee.
I think the thing that makes this place even better is the staff. Diana who was on the front desk every nite, we were always greeted with a smile and the breakfast staff (Yvonna) were so friendly every morning. We were welcomed by Emmanuela when we arrived who took the time to orientate us with the area by showing us a map and outlining potential walking routes to see all the sites. On our last day 25th Jan Emmanuela recommended we make our visit to St. Pauls Church & Catacombs. We were astonished after our trip to Catacombs we went to St. Pauls and there to our surprise Pope Benedict was going to celebrate St. Paul’s Conversation being 25th Jan and Husband & myself saw Pope face to face a distance of 1 feet. What more could we expect, that was our dream come true. Even more so, she offered suggestions for an onward trip in Italy! And she got it absolutely spot on every time! We had brilliant trip with her recommendations was the best.
Would recommend this to anyone wanting a good location for Rome!

My parents, sister and I stayed here in early January for 3 nights and had a brilliant stay. We were in the Junior Suite which accommodated all 4 of us. The room was secure, modern and clean and serviced everyday.
Didn't matter who was on the front desk, we were always greeted with a smile and the breakfast staff were so friendly every morning. We were welcomed by Emmanuela when we arrived who took the time to orientate us with the area by showing us a map and outlining potential walking routes to see all the sites. Even more so, she offered suggestions about places to eat, have a coffee and dessert! And she got it absolutely spot on every time! We had brilliant meals thanks to her recommendations and the best Tiramisu ever.
Would recommend this to anyone wanting a good location for Rome!

“Had a wonderful 4-night stay!”

The Fellini B&B was our first stop on our trip to Europe in August 2011. We had a fantastic stay at this B&B. The location was great, we walked everywhere and took the subway only a few times. The room was quiet (we had a street view and couldn't hear any traffic), the decor was charming, the bathroom was renovated, and everything was clean, clean, clean. The a/c worked well and was quiet. We were on the 5th floor and could access the wifi from our room. The staff were always friendly and ready to help; they gave us a map every time we wanted to know where something was located, and recommended an excellent restaurant a few steps away. When we had leftover pizza, they even put it in their office fridge for us! I would absolutely stay here again, and recommend it to everyone.

Tips: the elevator holds one person with a suitcase, or two people. We used the stairs most of the time. If you are a big party and don't like stairs, expect delays! Also, bring a water bottle and fill it up at one of the street fountains so that you always have fresh water.

“Excellent experience, great trip”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Our trip was on Dec 2011 and we travelled as a young couple. The hotel was located very comfortably near one of the few metro stations (about 10 minute walk). Location was a perfect for quite a few attractions (Trevi fountain just 5 minute walks, spanish steps about 15 minutes) Area seemed quite safe.

Staff was brilliant and very polite and responsive. Rooms and the hotel were always clean. We had some minor problems but they were always resolved in a few minutes. Staff was available 24/7 even on Christmas day so that was quite amazing !

Only downsides was that there was no wifi.

Would recommend this place to anyone.

Room Tip: The rooms on the higher floor in the building corner facing the crossroads are probably the best.

“Bit on the small side but very clean and loved the service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 December 2011

Nice room: very clean. Can't hear noise from the road. Rather small for 3 people but manageable. Bathroom has towel heaters!
Great service: We checked in quite late at night and the hotel starts at the 3rd (or the 4th?) floor of the building. Somebody met us downstairs and helped with the bags. Volunteered tourist info like where the spots are and how to get there. The TV/remote was broken when we got there, and somebody was immediately there to fix. Lady at the breakfast area was very accommodating and quick to refill the breakfast table.
Food was average: same everyday. But I liked that it was light (bread, pastries, cheese, jam, cold cuts) just enough for you to get out of the hotel without feeling hungry, and ready for a nice Italian meal after your first destination.
Good location: 5-10 min walk to Trevi Fountain and the Spanish steps. <5min walk to Via del Tritone (main road with the bus stops) and the metro. Well lit. Felt safe at night walking around the surrounding streets. Loved the pizza place in front. They also served chai tea. Used this as a lobby while waiting for my family to get ready.
Will definitely stay here again.
