Perfect location, within walking distance to every major sight. Friendly, cosy place, comfy beds. Stayed there with friends for 6 nights, service excellent. Friendly staff, there was a very nice guy who spoke perfect English.

Building has plenty of "character" and obviously is not brand new. The room was clean and the bathroom had been recently renovated. As an English speaker in Italy the staff were able to help with all our needs comfortably. The service and hygiene quality was equivalent to (if not better than) most large successful hotel chains with the added value of something original. NB. Breakfast with handmade coffee was included with stay. My girlfriend and I (age 23) could not be happier with what was provided from New Morpheus Rooms.

Perfect small friendly place for Rome. We stayed for 5 nights from 9 - 14 december and found the rooms very clean with comfortable beds and the staff were very friendly and helpful. All the major sites were within 10 to 15 mins walk. And for continental Europe the breakfast was of a high standard. Basically for the level of service and its location in one of Europes best cities it was excellent value and a pleasure to stay there.

Ignore the complaints in other reviews, these are obviously from people who want the cheapest price but 5 star facilities with plastic standardised hotel rooms and probably eat in Mcdonalds (or ask for a "deep pan pizza") because they know what they're getting. This place has great character, great staff and you don't go to Rome to stay in your room all day.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it was in a good location to visit alot of the things we wanted to do, we were able to walk everywhere, even with 2 small children. The elevater was very small but it worked, however some reviewers say it didnt work when they were there and i can see how that would be a big probelm, but it worked while we were there. The rooms were clean and the staff was very nice and helpful. WE were even in room 1 right across from the breakfast room and It didn;t bother me as some people said. It woke us up around 7 but we needed to get up and start our day anyways. I probably could have slept right through it but it woke my baby up both mornings. overall a pleasent experiance!
