“very average”

This hotel is situated about 20-30mins away from the city centre by metro. Again one of those Italian hotels with tiny facilities, such as lifts.

Tiny bathroom with bidet and shower. Bedroom is big enough to open up 2 big luggage. Wardrobes with hangers. No coffee/tea making facilities.

No English channels available on TV programs.

Walking distance to the Metro, about 20mins.

This will not be my choice of accommodation if I were to return to Rome again but it's definitely decent and clean enough to stay in.

“Not a 4* but still nice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 January 2012

My girlfriend and I stayed here for 3 nights in January 2012 and were a bit nervous especially after reading reviews about the hotel and surrounding area. However, we were really pleasantly surprised by what we experienced.

The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from the Furio Camillio metro station. The area isn't rough or dangerous, it's just not as attractive as the middle of Rome - mainly because it is a residential area. Neither of us ever felt in danger or uneasy, even walking back at 8pm in the darkness.

The room was large, with aircon, balcony and a nice clean bathroom. The "double" bed was actually two single mattresses pushed together with one sheet put over the top but it never really caused any problems for us. It was comfortable and we slept well.
As some others have noted, the breakfast is a little sparse in its options, but the food that is available is quite nice. If you aren't impressed, there's a Carrefour market 2 minutes away. The room must be quite nice in summer when they open the windows etc.

The receptionist was helpful, allowing us to store our bags for free on our last day whilst we went for a bit of souvenir shopping/sight seeing. There's also a single computer for quickly checking emails etc for free, and Wifi is available through a hotspot (€6 for 3 hours if I remember correctly?).

I wouldn't have called the star a 4* hotel, probably a good 3* one, but it was pleasant nonetheless. I'd stay here again when in Rome.

“Ideal rest just outside centre”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 November 2011

first visit to this hotel. After reading some reviews was a bit concerned but was completely pleased with my stay here. The hotel is on the corner of a residential street over looking a park. it is about 400m from the nearest metro station or a bus stop is located just outside. The breakfast room does open up in july/aug. Breakfast is ok, cont breakfast to be expected.
My room was clean and lots of space, couldnt work the tele though but that might just be me!!! only downside i can think of is the traffic noise, but after a day in the hustle of rome center you are so tired nothing will stop you sleeping. I found staff to be friendly, helping out with transport into centre and airport.
Maybe not a 4 star hotel but well worth the price.

“Not 4 star, it's a budget hotel outside city center”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 July 2011

Stayed for 2 nights with contiki tour - this hotel is almost exclusively for contiki groups. Rooms are clean but not 4 star. They define 4 star as a room with ac, attached bathroom and bidet.

It's about 16 euro for taxi ride into main city center as this is in a residential area.

“Where was the roof garden restaurant?”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 June 2011

The roof garden in the brochure does not exist. There are no beautiful views to be had in the breakfast room (you can't see out) just chairs in poor condition and a really bad breakfast. Nescafe coffee and a poor selection of food
My room was on the ground floor and had kitchen hobs in the wardrobe, a broken chair to match the broken television, mould on the walls, glue on the bathroom tiles and no plug. The room was hot and noisy and thoroughly depressing with no pictures on the walls whatsoever.
The staff were sullen and the lounge TV was in french. Who gave this hotel 4 stars? what a joke.
