I have travelled extensively within europe and stayed at many hotels and I have to say this has to be at the bottom of my list. It took a while to find the hotel as there was no sign outside to indicate that you are in the right place. On entering the building we had to climb up three flights of stairs. The lift could only take one person plus one bag. I arrived at what I thought might be the right address and knocked on the door... no one answered we were a bit early but there was no one to greet us after a 20 minute wait someone eventually turned up to let us in and commented that we were early. great start.
On finally entering we were directed to the breakfast bar which doubled as the hotel reception and although the lady was relatively friendly it felt very uncomfortable..(They have made the picture to look like a proper reception but IT IS NOT).
Oh now for the rooms with a private bathrooms. ha what a joke.. The bathroom was actually across the hall way which we had to lock when not in use for safety reasons, The fan didn't work properly in the bedroom and the floor was filthy. My daughter was near to tears, oh and it smelt awfull too. The beds were quite comfy which was about the only plus. It rained on our small balcony the next day but this was from the overflow pipes from the building above. nice.
Breakfast was a stale bread roll and a cup of tea of coffee but no milk was provided.
please unless you love slumming it dont go here. It really is just some rooms in an apartment block and definately not a hotel.
