“Cosy hotel at excellent place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 November 2010

Really great location - near via National, Quattro Fontane, Santa Maria degli Angeli. Transport location is good - metro Repubblica in 2 minutes, Termini is 10-15 minutes walking from the hotel.
The hotel is on the second floor. It is small, but very cosy. People at reception are very friendly and helpfull, they give us a map of the city and show main sightseens on it. we went near 21 at the hotel very tired after 3 flights and they made us free tea. Also at the table in hall near our room all time there is a plate with fruits and everybody can take them free.
Our room (twin) was small, but normal, with tv, air-condition (which was very useful in hot summer days) and etc. One minus: the shower was very tiny, small, and the doors of shower cabine were broken a little and they were rather dirty. But in genetal room was ok.
While you live at the hotel, you have a lot of keys from all doors and you can return home at any time - very convenient after late dinners, walkings, bars and etc.

“room for city trippers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 22 August 2010

Basic and affordable rooms close to the centre ( 5 min ) and train station (3 min ).
Rooms are small but clean, comfy beds, basic but clean bathroom.
If you want good pasta, you don't go to England. If you want an English breakfast, don't go to Rome.
Friendly reception, free desktop with internet at your disposal.
After 15 hours of sight seeing, eating and drinking in one of the great cities of the world, we didn't need more at night than a bed in Notti a Roma.

“Great Service, Value, and Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 August 2010

We got a room for 3 people (it was essentially one bed that had two single beds pushed together with another single bed on the side). The room and bathroom were fairly clean and felt plenty big for the 3 of us. The room had an AC unit but it really did not work very well, we basically had to be right up on top of it to really even feel it and it never cooled the room even though we left it on the entire day. It was very hot when we were in Rome so this was a slight disappointment. The breakfast was decent and included things like coffee, juice, crackers, croissants, cheese, fruit, etc.

The location is great, it is a short walk away from several attractions and is right next to the tour bus routes. Plenty of restaurants close by to choose from as well. We took a taxi to get to this hotel and I would recommend doing the same unless you are familar with the area, it is kind of on a small side street and is easy to miss.

The service is what really seperated this hotel from others for me. This was our first time in Europe so we were a little lost and confused as to how to get around Rome and how to get to our next city. The staff was very helpful with everything from city maps to attraction recommendations to transportation options and even helped us figure out how to get to our next destination when we checked out.

This isn't the fanciest hotel around but if you are just looking for a place to sleep/rest at a decent price in a good location, I would recommend this hotel.

“very nice place, go there!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 2 July 2010

VERY nice and helpful staff, small but comfy room with really comfy bed, clean bathroom, great location, very very nice breakfast, lots of choice (but don't eat mortadella - advice given by an Italian couple staying in the hotel at the same time :-] ). no problems, only nice impressions and experiences. friendly atmosphere, like in your new Italian home. well done Notti a Roma!

“Great location, great service but small rooms”

Great if you don`t mind smaller rooms. The bathroom did have a mildew smell but the rest of the room was very clean. The staff were excellent and the breakfast was great. We stayed for 8 days and would definitely stay again. May not be a good location for bigger families but great for couples. The location could not have been better, we were 5 mins from the metro, and great shopping.
