“just what you need in a city break hotel”

We stayed for 4 nights in this hotel. Its simple and clean. Rooms cleaned and every night but even if we put our towels on the floor they were not changed. But there were soaps and shampoo in the bathroom, a bidé and good shower.
We stayed on the 3rd floor with window to the inner courtyard so it wasn't very noisy, but as I am a light sleeper I always bring earplugs. Our travel companions stayed on the 2nd floor with window to the street and found it very noisy. Breakfast was fine: toasts, yoghurts, juices, good coffee (we asked the very nice breakfast-lady to make us caffe-latte in the kitchen) and sweets. The only thing I missed was some fresh fruit. All reception-staff friendly. The only thing I didn't like was the headboard, old-fashioned covered in fabric. Find it a bit unhygienic.. And for staying in central Rome you pay more for this hotel than a similar further from city center.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with window to inner courtyard.

“Perfect location and value for your money”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011 via mobile

I have visited the Eternal city over a dozen times in the last ten years and came across this hotel for this trip. perfect, especially if u realise all hotel rooms in Rome are boxs and only used as a base to stop off or sleep. EASILY the best value (and shower) we have stayed in for the price, cleanleness, helpfulness and location. Our new base from mow on.

“cute, convenient & cost effective”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 September 2011

Staff was really willing to help us, especially the receptionist called Fabio gave us really accurate information about the district, the distances and the right places to visit and to eat, in reasonable prices (2 meal course with bottle of wine and dessert about 40 euro).
Rooms were cleaned every day and the roof garden of the hotel where we enjoyed our breakfast was homely but small. The breakfast was adequate with emphasis on sweet goodies and although the capuccino coffee was from a machine it was tasteful.
The hotel was about 100 m from cavour metro station on foot, nearby via nazionale (shopping street), mini markets and cosy trattorias & pizzerias.
Althought we stayed on the 5th floor the noise was loud, I suggest to ask for a room on the side of via urbana.
Also in the bathroom there wasn't a bath baterry ("phone" ) and the water hit directly our head, and it wasn't convenient at all for women hygiene.
Overall, we were satisfied by the service, quality and price, and therefore we strongly recommend this place for staying.

“Not far from Metro and Train Station, but far from main tourist attraction.”

I stay here for 3 nights. The hotel 5 to 6 blocks from train station. 200 to 300m from Metro. Nearby have resto (italian n chinese), cafe, minimart. The hotel room is ok. Have wifi, but signal is weak. We stay at 1fl, hv to stand at the door to get signal. Breakfast at 5th floor. It is such a beautiful setup at rooftop.

The hotel is far from major tourist spot, have to take metro or taxi.

“Good location, rooms average, but ok for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 July 2011

We stayed two first nights in Italy here. Definetely not a disappointed,
but not a good surprise. Average. Location is fine, breakfast served
in roof-top terrace was located nicely, but the breakfast itself was
a really average.
