I've stayed in a lot of hotels around the world, 3, 4 and 5 star. This hotel should no way be rated any higher than two stars. It is dated, shabby and grubby with very little in the way of creature comforts or amenities. The double beds are two rock hard twin mattresses placed together on a wooden box, made with ripped sheets, two single blankets, thin pillows (1 each) and a darned bed cover. The rooms have stained walls, ceilings, damaged floors, a small old Grundig TV that didn't work, single glazed windows over a very busy/noisy road, no tea/coffee, no WiFi. The hand towels were linen tea towels, the toilet seat wasn't fitted correctly, cigarette burn on the bath, green taps, and a leaking pipe that nobody wanted to fix, so, a constant drip, drip, during the night joined the traffic noise whilst we lay on a hard uncomfortable bed unable to sleep. The restaurant resembled a school canteen with wooden chairs, dirty walls, a barred fire exit and many pieces of hand written reserved signs on tables for hordes of students who occupied the lower floors. Breakfast was hard rolls, processed cheese and ham, watery juice from a machine with a drip tray that didn't bare investigation. The public toilet outside the restaurant had no locks on the cubicle doors, broken tiles from the walls on the floor under the sink and like the rest of the hotel was in need of a good clean. The whole hotel was badly in need of refurbishing and I would recommend you avoid it at all costs.
