Not use to staying at a small hotel however this was a hotel we only came back to sleep. I didn't realize that WiFi in Italy is like a premium and Orlanda provides for free which was huge for me. My wife and I appreciated the cleanliness and the staff extended themselves to make our stay enjoyable. I thank 'Rocco' for helping me out unloading my huge video files I took around the city as I needed his help badly. He was enjoyable to talk to and really made sure we were always taken care of. BTW- the beds are the foam TempurPedic type beds that were simple and comfortable not like the hotel we stayed in Venice. Every morning came with a good breakfast to start your day and not to mention a nice cup of expresso/cappuccino! We will definitely come back to Rome and will stay here again.

We stayed for three nights in this hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms have a nice size and were very clean. Breakfast was good with all the dolci that were being offered. The hotel is situated ideally for those who don't mind taking the metro to the city center or other touristic spots. And if you have to catch a plane early in the morning there is no better place to stay. I would definitely come back to this hotel if I would make another short visit to Rome.

I stayed at Hotel Orlanda for 2 nights late October and 3 nights early November. I chose it as I wanted a hotel within walking distance to the main train station (Termini). After reading the reviews, I booked a room directly with the hotel. This is an easy 3 or so block walk. The hotel doesn't have a large sign outside (wish I'd taken a picture to show), but if you look for the street address, no problem.

I had two different rooms, both exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast is on the 5th floor and consists of basic breakfast items (cereals, yogurt, milk, juice, roll, croissant, jam, pate...). I read reviews that some people weren't happy with the breakfast options. However, understand Italians usually have a coffee/cappuccino and a croissant or some such pastry.

They have free Wifi and two computers for guest use. This was an essential item for me! The first stay it didn't work in my room but did in the main area (even though the front desk person rest it) so I just did what I needed there. the second stay it worked great in my room.

Staff all speak great English and are very helpful. Great restaurant suggestions, etc. I would definitely stay here again. As a single woman traveling, I felt very safe and comfortable.

This hotel is just a couple blocks from the Termini train station. We arrived in the evening by train the night before we were flying out, so it was a good location for us. It was clean and had nice rooms. The breakfast was fine.
