Well situated,very clean room in a central street.
All facilities,air conditioning,hot water,mini bar,hair dryer and toiletries.
The staff are friendly and obliging.
There is some traffic noise but it is only to be expected in the very centre of a city like Rome.
I would not hesitate to return here.
If your expectations are modest then this accomodation is good value.

Our room was clean, airy and spacious. Ddin't really know what to expect as it is on the 3rd floor above a wig shop (!) but actually it was very good for the money. It is on the main stretch in Rome so easy to get around from there. The guy on reception was pleasant, friendly and helpful. The only downside was the hairdryer didn't work in the room. Breakfast was just round the corner in a typical Italian cafe and was also fine.

The hotel is tucked away in what looks like the entrance to a wig shop. Well actually the entrance was to a wig shop too as the hotel shares the building with them. Don't be put off by this though as this is possibly one of the best budget finds I've experienced.

The B/B occupies the 4th floor of the building (but press 3 on the lift as you have to walk up a flight to get to it) and has only 8 rooms, I think. The room we used was well kept and had all the basics one needs for a city break. I thought the beds were comfortable but then I was also very exhausted from all the walking during the day.

The hotel is well placed, only 5 mins walk from Termini train station. To find it use the exits closest to platforms 1-12. We had followed the exit signs from platform 27 which is where the train from Fumicino disembarks passengers. As you leave the suggested exit you will see a bus terminus. Walk strainght towards the fountain in the distance, which is also a roundabout, and take a left. You will be on Via di Nazionale. Stay on the right hand side of the street. The entrance to number 249 is just a few paces after crossing over from the McDonald's.

Stayed here over the weekend, as mentioned it can be tricky to find unless you know what you're looking for.

The rooms are dated but clean. The bathroom was also clean. The man at th front desk can be difficult to pin down so you can pay and it can be really noisy as it is located on a main street but overall we had a good stay.
