“very nice B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 November 2011

Me and my friend stayed there 7 nights and overall was very, very good. Positive: cleaning every day (we had 3 towels on each :) ), mini fridge (was very useful), big flat TV (no channels in English but there are huge library of DVD), nice laptop in room with free wi-fi (we saved some money on phone using skype every night), hair dryer, AC and fan (we didnt use because we were in Roma in November), location is great - next to Termini (we walked all over the Roma by foot except to Vatican but in Termini are A and B metro lines, all buses u need are there also to both airports), no noisiness from street at all, elevator, storage-box in room. Very helpfull man was speaking also in Russian besides of Engl. Breakfest is small - crossant with coffee but its everywhere in low-cost places. But coffee was excellent in Rome :)
Negative: We had some noisy neighbours but our request to be bit gently was accepted. But its not a fault of hotel. Everything was great so our trip!
Special thanks to Stan!

Room Tip: Quite rooms and good elavator, A/C.

“Nice location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 November 2011

Stayed here in September 2007. If i recall had one of the smallest elevators i hv been in :). But it was all part and parcel of a very nice experience. We stayed in a smallish room the first night and were then shifted a to sister-b&b at a nearby location, which was good too. The staff was friendly and efficient. While in terms of the room facilities were average, the location is excellent as ur in the historical centre and termini station is few min away. Recommended if ur looking for a no frills-stay and not expecting more.

“Terrible experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

I stayed here for 3 nights on a triple room, and I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

POSITIVE:
- Amenities: big flat screen TV, mini frigde (very useful), hair dryer, free wi-fi and an old laptop computer in the room. A/C and fan work fine.
- Location is great, across the street from Termini (no luggage hassle).
- Breakfast: served at a bar nearby from 6:30 to 12:30, a 6 hours span :). They only serve 1 donut/pastry and a cup of juice/coffee. It's across the street and the process is hassle free. One day we arrived there at about 11:30, and they were out of pastries. The lady offered bottled water as an alternative...! We insisted saying this wasn't fair, and we got half a sandwich each.

NEUTRAL:
- The room was quite small, but acceptable.
- It's located in an old building, where about other 5 hotels are located as well. Unlike others mentioned, reception is really easy to find (maybe they improved the signs lately). Do keep in mind that floors numbering in europe are not the same as America, so you better use the elevator to avoid any confusion. Our room was in another floor, using a different staircase, so we had to go to the ground floor after checking-in and then up again to a 2nd floor. I didn't care much about this.

NEGATIVE:
- Tiny, dirty and smelly bathroom. While the bathtub, sink and toilet were actually clean and mildew-free, the ceramics on the walls were nasty, full of mildew/mold, so you can imagine how bad the bathroom smelled :S. I had never seen such a thing. If I had stayed longer here, I think I would probably have purchased an air freshner or even done some cleaning myself just to be at peace with it. - My first breakfast cappuccino tasted like rotten, and I just couldn't drink it. I switched to orange juice the rest of days and was fine. Honestly, I recommend you to go somewhere else, unless cleanliness is not quite an issue for you. The amenities are OK, but you can get most of them in a cleaner place.

“The best for us”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

We were with a group of students so the price was very important. The last 6-8 years we have used other hotels in the area, and this was by far the best. It is a low-cost hotel without anywhere to eat, but it worked fine with the ticket to a bar for the morning coffee. The hotel is divided in more stairs and floors, so all the rooms aren't together. Very nice with both TV, computer and refrigerator in each room. The wireless didn't always work, but for this price level there aren't any other hotels with free-wifi. We stayed for 6 nights.
