This place is not for people who are looking for some fancy hotel. It's a cheap hostel, so you get what you pay for. Its location is great! Very close to the train station, and within walking distance to the sites. The people who worked there were reserved but very nice, and they gave us free paper bag breakfasts in the morning! They also did free spaghetti dinners, which I've never encountered at other hostels. So if you are in Rome for ROME's sake, this place will do just fine!

I was with 3 other girls (4 of us total) and we traveled all through Europe staying in hostels. The spaghetti party was a very fun dinner option where we met others in the hostel and had free sangria :) The breakfasts every morning are AWESOME, all packed in a bag for you waiting outside your door with yogurt, toast, fruit, juice etc. We were put in an apartment adjacent to the check-in place. It was fine, we had 2 other Canadian girls in our room and we all shared a bathroom that was out in the hall. We had a blast and our hostel did not matter because we spent little time their. Only complaint is it was a pretty quite hostel, and we usually preferred hostels with bars, restaurants, pub crawls etc.

The only great thing about this hostel it´s his location. It´s near the Colosseo, so you can walk to it, and to fontana di Trevi as well. The hostel is rotten, ugly, with no maintenance, the building is almost falling apart, the stairs smell and the room was very small for 8 people.

A very very friendly staff, and amazing breakfast. Ideal location, right in the centre of the city, and for a reasonable price. But this being a XVII° century building, it can be quite old and crumbling to pieces. The bathrooms are rudimentary and the cooking facilities really not the best I've seen. It's great for friendliness and welcoming atmosphere, but in terms of quality of accomodation, it is not that exciting.
