“Great quiet location with friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 November 2011 via mobile

Great value in a nice residential area, close by the Bologna metro stop. But if you like walking, getting to Villa Borghese is a nice stroll and you can take Via Nomentana to the Center. The staff was friendly and helpful and the room basic but clean. My only complain would be no Internet access in the rooms , I hope they enable this soon.

“Expected More”

My wife and I just completed a stay at this hotel and to be honest, would never recommend this as a place to stay unless you are paying 50 euro or less per night.

pro:1) location is 5 min from balogna metro which means you have all of rome at your fingertips
2)young lady at the front desk during the weekdays was very helpful and extremely pleasant
& this is all we have to say about the good experiences....

cons: 1)asked for a non-smoking room & we rec'd a room clearly with the smell of lingering cigarettes. for non smokers, this is/was a big deal...the explanation was as infuriating as the room itself "we cannot control what our guests do in the room" 2)3 flights of stairs with no lift (not a big deal but can be at the end of an exhausting hot summer day 3)broken skylight cover which meant 6am wake up call via sunshine pouring into your eyes....make sure you have an eye mask! 4)air conditioner was set at medium (make sure you turn up the pressure up via a side panel...it isn't the greatest air conditioner 5)"free wifi" access once you pay 2 euro per device & it only works in the lobby 6)the bathroom is smaller than most of the closests in my home. You basically have enough room to turn around in the shower (I am 5'9 175 pounds and don't take up much space)....brutal!

Hope this helps with your decisions on booking or not! Safe travels my friends.

Room Tip: Ask for a lower room and make sure you turn up the air conditioner

“Great little hotel will go there agiain”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 August 2011

Great place to stay, only a short tube ride from all the sights Rome can offer.the hotel was clean with fresh towels everyday, the staff were friendly and helpful although English was not there strongest point.but" when in Rome" as the saying goes. But Overall good rooms with air conditioning breakfast was good ( continental style),as much as you can eat.the area around the hotel especially the cafe and bars of Boloqgna square were welcoming and great value. You can eat very well for very little good to know if you kids. Overall a great hotel in a fantastic area we will go back again.

“Excellent quality / price ratio, easy to reach central location, very quite rooms”

I found my room warm and welcoming, with a comfortable bed and cool air conditioning.
I had a good breakfast with fresh "CORNETTOS" and "NUTELLA", included.
The Hotel has no private parking, but it is easy to park in the area.
