We stayed at Luciano's B&B for 4 nights, late January 2011. We were warmly welcomed, and Luciano was a gracious host, he helped us settle in after a 26 hour flight..., and recommended a local restaurant which didn't let us down! We had our own space, yet felt like we were staying somewhere familiar. Our room was perfect, and warm (it was winter time.. ) but we were really comfortable and had everything we needed, en-suite, linen closet, fridge, T.V. a collection of travel books (which came in handy and we used to plan our next days..) umbrellas (didn't need them, the weather was lovely), and we slept really well there, it was so quiet!
Luciano was generous with his Rome knowledge, and we shared a few travel plan suggestions over breakfast each morning before we set out for our day.
The location was GOLD! We walked everywhere, and all the major attractions are an easy walk.
We could come back to Luciano's for a catnap, or drop our backpacks off in the afternoons sometimes, then go out for dinner. We had a great time, and it really is such a great location. We'd stay there any time we visit Rome again.
Luciano and his wife were so generous and we are grateful that our hosts were so genuine, warm and passionate in making our stay enjoyable.
We'd recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to explore Rome.
