“Perfect Location, home away from home...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 March 2011

We stayed at Luciano's B&B for 4 nights, late January 2011. We were warmly welcomed, and Luciano was a gracious host, he helped us settle in after a 26 hour flight..., and recommended a local restaurant which didn't let us down! We had our own space, yet felt like we were staying somewhere familiar. Our room was perfect, and warm (it was winter time.. ) but we were really comfortable and had everything we needed, en-suite, linen closet, fridge, T.V. a collection of travel books (which came in handy and we used to plan our next days..) umbrellas (didn't need them, the weather was lovely), and we slept really well there, it was so quiet!
Luciano was generous with his Rome knowledge, and we shared a few travel plan suggestions over breakfast each morning before we set out for our day.
The location was GOLD! We walked everywhere, and all the major attractions are an easy walk.
We could come back to Luciano's for a catnap, or drop our backpacks off in the afternoons sometimes, then go out for dinner. We had a great time, and it really is such a great location. We'd stay there any time we visit Rome again.
Luciano and his wife were so generous and we are grateful that our hosts were so genuine, warm and passionate in making our stay enjoyable.
We'd recommend this B&B to anyone wanting to explore Rome.

“A hidden gem in Rome”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 September 2010

We stayed with Luciano 4 days. It was a perfect time! From the moment we arrived he treated us like family. He showed us the appartment, presented us his "babys" (three cats) and showed us on the map where to go. He and his wife are very friendly and helpful. Trust his maps and restaurant recommendations - they are perfect! He also helped us booking the tickets vor the musei vaticani.
The location of the bed&breakfast is very nice, in a walking distance to the centro storico and the vatican. The quarter is gorgious, many narrow streets, mostly without traffic. The room itself is nicely decorated, the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is small but clean with everything you need.
Breakfast was good, fresh fruits, juice, sweets and coffee - very italian.
We also could use the internet to check our mails.
We highly recommend this place... except you suffer from cat allergy!

“Excellent Location... Great Place to Stay!!!”

We really enjoyed our stay at Luciano B & B. This is an excellent location, walking distance to all the attractions in old and ancient Rome. Close to many restaurants and shops. Luciano is an EXCELLENT host. He gave us all the tips & tricks to avoid the huge line-ups which helped us to maximize our stay. He also makes a great Expresso and when we asked him where we could get a coffee machine like his, he insisted on walking us to his to his neighborhood hardware store to make sure we got a good unit at a good price (with gratis extras).

“A great end to our European vacation”

Luciano provided us with a great place to stay in Rome. We walked every where from his B&B. When we arrived he sat down with us to plan our stay in Rome. Within minutes he was on the phone to book us at the Borghese museum and on his computer he set up our visit to the Vatican museum. His advise and conversation helped to make our stay great. His home is vey nice and cool as it was plus 30 most days we stayed in Rome. I would highly recommend Luciano' B&B when staying in Rome.

“Luciano Saved our vacation”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 July 2010

I must agree with every other reviewer that Luciano is a Roman Treasure and his lovely home is perfectly located between the attractions, so that everything Rome has to offer is within walking distance. His wife and son are equally charming, and really helped us feel at home.

When we first arrived from the Termini by taxi, I heard Luciano calling my name from the window upstairs the moment I got out of the car. My husband went around to help the taxi driver with our heavy luggage and with all the distraction, we both neglected to grab his carry-on holding his breathing machine (for snoring), his cell phone and all his high blood pressure meds. Needless to say, when we discovered a few minutes later that it was missing, we were frantic. Of course we didn't notice the taxi number, name of the company or have a card for the driver (note to self, these are good things to notice). Luciano told us not to panic, he would call the main taxi companies that serve the Rome area and explain what happened.

I wasn't holding out much hope that we would ever see the bag again, but Luciano was able to direct us to a nearby pharmacist who spoke perfect English and was able to help my husband replace the bulk of his meds (that's another story entirely........would this even be possible in the US? I think not). He was also able to direct us to an electronics store that sold (hard to find) replacement batteries for our non-functioning camera.

Anyway, later that evening, as we were preparing for bed (and I for a sleepless night due to all the snoring) Anna Maria, Luciano's wife, knocked on the door to tell us that a Taxi was asking for us downstairs. You know the rest, the bag was returned and the vacation was saved. I will never forget the Pascucci's kindness to us. As others have said, they go out of their way to ensure that his guests have a wonderful stay in Rome. We certainly did.
