My wife and I along with another couple stayed here in Oct/08. We wanted somewhere central to the touristy areas, and this location was perfect. We could walk to everywhere, including the often overlooked Villa Borghese park, museum and zoo. Our friends' room was on the street side of the first floor and was noisy. However, their room was huge. Our room was on the 4th floor in the back so was as quiet as they come, but quite a bit smaller, which was fine by us. Both rooms were spotless, and had clean modern private bathrooms. The halls were quiet at night, mainly because of the 10:30 curfew. Many hall lights were motion activated so no dark hallways. We never took the elevator, but there is a small one. Although they don't advertise it they do have wireless internet access, just make sure to face the courtyard for best reception. The nuns were very nice, but few spoke English, but it's Italy so why would they? How many innkeepers in English countries speak a foreign language?
The only drawback was breakfast. They advertise that breakfast is included, and it is, but it's coffee/tea plus a hollow roll. We still can't figure out how they can make a softball sized roll that's completely hollow.
Well worth the 75 Euros to be right downtown in a clean and quiet room.
