we stayed here two nights, family of four, mum, dad, two teenagers. We booked an apartment which advertised 1 x double and 2 x single sofa beds.
we checked in and got to the apartment. it was split into two rooms, living area had two single sofa beds as advertised but the main bedroom had two single beds which was a disappointment as not as advertised.
the bathroom was large and water pressure was good with plenty of hot water.
the kitchenette was bare of any utensils, plates or cutlery. there was an extra charge if the kitchenette was used. there was a fridge though.
the wiring in the apartment was a bit worrying as not all powerpoints worked and one next to the bed in the main bedroom had the plate hanging off the wall with wires poking out. we unplugged that point and did not use it due to fire risk.
there was a pool which looked nice but there was no information in the room as to how to access it, or what hours (if any) it was available.
breakfast was adequate with toast, spreads, cereal, yogurt, good coffee and a selection of pastries.
there was no internet access. on enquiry at reception we were advised to go next door to the crown plaza and ask for a code.
the apartment reception was able to provide some maps and basic directions about how to get buses to rome etc.
overall it was a good place to stay even though it wasn't central as the bus system was very convenient.
the downside was the nagging worry about the electrical wiring problem and the lack of good places to eat or self catering facilities.
there was enough free off-road parking within the grounds.
there is a laundrette in bravetta (approx 1 km walk/drive) as well as a basic but reliable chinese restaurant.
bus stops outside crown plaza next door and goes to vatican city. short walk/change for the metro to most other locations. if relying on public transport (which is advisable) would be wise to research ahead of visit as limited information available from Tourist Information etc
