“Fabulous time in amazing Villa Grazioli”

2nd occasion staying in this amazing Villa overlooking Rome. Location amazing, food amazing, pool amazing, Villa amazing... only a short trip on outskirts of Rome in Frascati. This is the ideal location to stay when visiting Rome.

Room Tip: If you can afford going for a more expensive room but if not the cheaper rooms are still very good

“Great CENTRAL, but quiet, location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 August 2011

This hotel is not to be confused with the Park Hotel Villa Grazioli, which is also a wonderful hotel, but outside of Rome. This hotel is INSIDE rome, but outside the Roman walls (10 minute walk, or a really easy bus ride from the stop just outside the hotel door right into the center). It's located right between the two major parks, Villa Borghese and Villa Ada (keep this in mind when you're tired of sightseeing and want to spend a nice afternoon wandering through a park). It's on Via Salaria, which is in a very chic neighborhood, about a 10-minute walk to the Via Veneto area, which takes you to the Spanish Steps and the Trevi fountain.

“We really did love this hotel and would love to go back”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 July 2011

The service and staff were faultless at this clean and comfortable hotel which although not small by any means was,nt so big you got lost and it made our stay seem more personal somehow, The twin room my friend and I had booked into for three nights was comfortable and clean. It was also pleasant to sit in the garden area which had a lovely Italian feel about it and the staff were always very helpful and cheerful.
The Villa Borghese is only down the road which unfortunately closes on Mondays which was the day I chose to go (a good reason to go back) and Rome city centre is a walkable distance of about 20 mins, we may have walked a longer way but even so it is very near. There is a lovely little restaurant just along the road between Villa Borghese and the hotel where they do lovely bolognese for a very reasonable price and you can sit out in the open and people watch if you like, unfortunately I can,t remember the name.

“Great location!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 July 2011

We arrived at Hotel Villa Graziole and met a rather nonchalant man on reception. He silently checked us in and then told us our room number, what floor it was on and where the elevator was and handed the key over. He did not mention that a staff member could bring our bags up for us.

The two of us with our two 40L packs (not very big) crammed into the tiny, old and worn elevator and headed for our room.

We were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. So spacious! Nice décor, nice bathroom and overall everything was very clean. The bed was very hard but we still managed to sleep well. The only downfall to this room was the shower head. It was rather high and didn’t seem easy to adjust if at all adjustable and the water came out with such force! Usually some decent force to the water can be great but this was beyond that and to the point it was a bit tender on the skin and harsh on the face and a little damaging on the hair.

They offered a delicious selection of food at breakfast. A variety of breads, deli meats, pastries, cereals, fruit, etc. The croissants had Nutella centres, as did the mini donuts! The nice sunny yellow décor of the breakfast room is a nice start to your day.

We encountered a different man on reception our first morning there who was more friendly and helpful than the man the day before hand. He gave us directions and advice on where to go and how to get there. The hotel was only a 30 – 40 minute walk from Trinita dei Monti, The Spanish Steps, Keats-Shelley Memorial Musuem, Trevi Fountain, Fontana del Tritone, and only about 15 minutes from Villa Borghese. So handy to everything and such a nice walk to get there.

All in all it wasn’t a bad stay. Great location!

“Perfect and enchanting place to unwind”

Villa Grazioli is a stunning property located just outside Rome. The hotel is charming and has centuries of history, you can ask for a tour around the villa or just wonder around in the evening before going for dinner. The view is just fantastic and the sunsets are spectacular.

At first we thought being outside Rome would be an inconvenient, but it turned out to be the perfect place to relax after all the travels and tribulations of visiting the big city during the day.

Breakfast is just a treat
