“Last hotel of our trip”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 November 2011

We stayed here on our last night. Rooms were large-efficiencies. Large and very busy hotel. Staff was very accommodating. A grou[p of us went to the bar for a farewell drink, and the bar was filled with German ladies playing card (not drinking). The manager and bartender pushed tables together in the dining room to accommodate us, and brought bowls of snacks. Close to Vatican and Trevi. We were with a Cosmos tour. The hotel had regular shuttles available for sightseeing and the airport.

“Good staff and services!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 November 2011

I stay in Parco Tirreno hotel in october 2011. I'm a companion guide. The staff is very special. Very good for groups and families. Maybe to couple, is not advisable, but in generally, is good.

“Just average”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 1 October 2011 via mobile

Stayed as part of cosmos tour for 2 nights in September.
Location is little far but can access the metro via Cornelia station. Takes about 10 mins walk.
Have to pay for wifi 5 euro for 3 hours and another option of 10 euros.
Breakfast was decent enough.
Bad points were they had outdoor entertainment until midnight every night I was there and ABBA music being blasted on full volume!!
Make sure that the window shutters are all the way down as they offer some sound proofing.

“One of the Better Hotels”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 27 September 2011

After spending several nights in other European hotels where rooms were tiny and air-conditioning appeared to be pre-set at 90 degrees farenheit, it was pleasantly suprising to find this suite-hotel that subscribed to North American size standards plus had real functioning air conditioning. It is an older hotel that has seen better days. However, it is not run-down and was comfortable and clean. Front desk staff were very helpful and explained, in decent English, how to save money by not taking expensive taxis but by merely walking the 400 meters to the Metro station where you can ride for only 1 Euro, about CAN $1.40. Access to the inexpensive Metro subway system offsets any concerns about the hotel's location.

“Average location, lacking in basic 3-star amenities. Average service.”

Stayed here as part of a Cosmos tour. Upo reaching the hotel, the area looked run-down (although it is said that is due to Rome in general) although only a 15 minute drive from Il Centro. Supermarket is nearby (5 minute walk). Metro station Cornelia is about 20 minutes walk away.

The room allocated was bigger than the standard European room. Bathroom was an average size, although a bidet was at the foot of the bathtub, almost as an after thought. The kitchenette was run-down, with a fridge that didn't work, dirty electric stove and remnants of a previous guest's meal down the inside of the back of the sink cabinet.

Bed is a double bed, safe is small and air conditioner has an interesting thermostat/temperature regulation system.

Wifi must be purchased from the front desk, and is available only in 3-hr or 10-hr increments. 3-hr cards sell out by mid-afternoon, leaving only the 10-hr card. It is good value in terms of cost per hour but the wifi speed is dial-up at best and inconsistent.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights - on the last night the hotel had a function on at the pool with loud music blaring until 10.45 pm at night, which was quite inconsiderate as 37 of its guests needed to get up at 6.00am the next morning.

Service was polite but average. No less than what we expected from an establishment that rates itself as 3 stars.

Breakfast was average continental fare.

A disappointment, especially after our lovely hotel in Venezia-Mestre.
