My husband and I were in this hotel last week for four nights. It was our 10 year marriage anniversary. Hotel has nice ambient, but there are several things which should not happen...
Air-conditioning was not working at all in our room (you can open the windows and let mosquitos in the room :)), when we asked for assistance regarding this at the reception desk, each day they promised that they will send someone to fix it but nothing happened until we left the hotel. Also, we have to pay local tax additionally in spite the fact that on web site otel.com and voucher we had was written that all expenses are paid and that there are no additional cost (24 EUR)...maybe not so much but there are a lot of things we could do with this money. Stuff at the reception desk does not speak English language very well (especially two girls who worked in the afternoon shift)...don't understand me wrong....as you can probably notice from this review my English is not perfect but those two are really bad. Also, on site is written that you have free Wi-Fi in the lobby which simply is not true. Of course, we could pay additionally 20 or 25 EUR for internet access and we would probably have the internet connection then. Don't you think that this price is a little too high these days when you have free Wi-Fi in the most of 4 or 5 star hotels. When we asked for ROMA PASS (pass for all public transport in Rome), stuff at the reception desk did not told us that this includes only public transport and not sightseeing buses. It is ok, but someone should have told us that, after all they are selling it. Breakfast was good, plenty of different choices. Overall, I think that 4 star hotel must not allow these things to happen if they want a good review.
Our room was on third floor and was quite good and big, with street view but it did not bother us.

Thank you very much for your feedback following your recent stay with us! We appreciate the fact that the breakfast was good and full of choice. On the other hand i’m sorry to learn your disappointment concerning your experience with the air condition system in your room. Actually we have had some problems with the aircond. in few rooms these days. I'm sorry the receptionist couldn't solve your problem and change the room, this because the Hotel was fully booked and probably they couldn't find a room for you, for this reason we apologize for the inconvenience encountered.
Regarding the wifi free, we for sure provide wifi free internet connection in the hall, so i could not understand why you could not have the access. If you need wifi in the room there is an extra supplement to pay.
Regarding the city tax, it's a tax wanted by the Mayor of Rome since January last year, we know that is an extra cost for our guest but at the same time we can not do anything to avoid it. All the mayor cities in Italy have this tax.
With reference to Roma Pass, it's a pass valid for public bus and metro and museum for three days. With Roma pass you can have some museum for free and some with a large discount, but it's not valid for sightseen tour, that normally cost between 15-22 euro per person.
Our staff give all the detailed information upon check in regarding the tours, sightseen tours or Roma pass. We apologize if we didn't specify the difference between these products.
I have passed your comments on to all the team at the hotel and I’m sure they share the same vision of providing the best guest experience possible and we are confident they will take the necessary steps to continue to improve their quality.
