“Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 January 2012

I have stayed here on two separate trips to Rome and find it to be a great value. It is located near the train station and about a 20 minute walk to the Coliseum. Breakfast is basic and very good. It is near very good restaurants and a fairly safe neighborhood. During both stays, we had our own separate bathroom which was very clean and quiet. We highly recommend!

“Was less than I spected.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

On a November 2011 trip to Europe the last city to visit was Rome. I was surprised when I arrived at the Hotel it was a hall way with stairs at the end (No handicap access...) in the fourth floor on a shared building (additional hotels and offices).

Forget about bell service you have to carry your own luggage up the stairs to half of the first floor then in a small elevator to the fourth floor.

When I saw the room it looked like an old hospital being converted to a Hotel.

If someone smoked in the stairways you could smell the smoke in the room.

If you like hard mattress you are in luck, even my Army bunk was softer.

The continental breakfast was fine, the same we had in other better hotels trough out Europe.

The rooms and bathroom where very clean always.

Internet was not available in the room had to used it in the lobby, descent speeds.

“A good stay in Rome with our kid in November”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 9 November 2011

My wife and I spent 4 nights at hoitel Argentina early in November 2011. We enjoyed it very much. We have booked a triple room. It was clean and spacious with a very spacious bathroom. Our 10 year old kid enjoyed it as well. The breakfast was ok, not fabulous but really enough for our city break. Location is ideal. We could walk to Coliseum as well as Pantheon or Pliazza del Popolo. Close to St Jean de Latran as well. Direct access to train station is also an asset. I recommend this hotel.

“Good for 1-2 nights only.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 October 2011

Very close to teh Termini train station. It is really just a floor within a very old building that houses multiple "hotels" of the same type. It is good for just a night or maybe 2 just before your train or flight the next day. On a very busy street, but the windows seal very well. The hotel is smoke free, but the staff smokes just outside the front door, so you can smell it in the lobby. One thing I didn't like is you have to leave your room key at the front desk when you go out for dinner or something like that. I asked why, and they said it's for security. I asked, what about my security? and their reply, we can go into your room anytime anyway, so don't worry. Wierd. Breakfast is machine made coffee, yogurt, and processed crossiants. Nothing great. Again, if you need a place to crash for a night or two before you move on, this place is fine.

“Nice and convenient”

This was the first hotel I stayed at in my adventures in Rome. It was conveniently located to Termini station which was a big plus. Nice friendly service and breakfast included. I had no complaints, tho the hotel does look a little old, but that's part of the culture there, overall great value
