“Great room ... but the view needs a facelift!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 September 2011

We stayed at this hotel for one night as part of our 16 day tour of Italy. It was by far one of the cleanest and most contemporary hotels on our journey. The only "hiccup" occurred when we arrived. Apparently the front desk staff reserved a block of rooms for our group (of 30) but did not assigned them. Why it took an hour to get through that process will remain a mystery, but let's just say that a "sorry" from the staff would have gone a LONG way in reducing the frustration.

Our room appeared to be in a newly renovated section of the hotel and it was clean, well stocked and had a FABULOUS shower (who doesn't appreciate a rain head shower with LOTS of water pressure!). Our breakfast was okay, not great, but not the worst by any means. We were entertained by watching a "certain family" fill up their buckets and jugs with food and drink from the buffet prior to heading out for their day of adventure. Apparently THEY had no issue with the quality OR the quantity of food offered :)

Overall, the experience was great and other than the location (which is no where near the "touristy" area) it is a great hotel!

Room Tip: ask for a room which has been recently renovated!

“Nice pool”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 18 September 2011

A confortable hotel not too far from subway with a huge pool. Olympic size. Breakfast was ok but nothing special. Room were confortable but do not forget to bring IP cable. Wifi not available in rooms but free internet in the lobby by wifi and free by cable in rooms.

“Do not eat!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 September 2011 via mobile

As a hotel even though it is good quality, food is unbeleivably bad. So stay here but eat outside. By the way, if you need to sea Rome, this is so far away and there is no transfer option oyher then taxi. The good side is the swimming pool.

“Horrible for tourists, mediocre for conferences”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 September 2011

Good: clean rooms, comfortable bed, quiet, delicious food in restaurant, two elevators to guest rooms fast. Bad: reception personnel rude and hostile to people who do not speak fluent Italian. I tried German and Spanish (the only 2 languages besides English I can speak at all); doing this only seemed to increase their irritability and unhelpfulness. Awkward layout among the enormous number of conference rooms; several cannot be reached by elevator (caution if your conference has wheelchair users), elevators to conference floors (below ground) slow, no business center with computer for email access (not even a computer dedicated to printing boarding passes), front desk does not sell stamps for sending postcards to friends (they misinformed me that a nearby tobacco shop sells them -- it doesn't; they misinformed me that the nearest post office is 700 meters away (it's 2 km away)), absolutely HORRIBLE location for tourists intending to see famous sites of Rome since nearest metro station is 2+ km away along busy street with EXTREMELY narrow sidewalk for pedestrians. Logically, the only users of this hotel should be attendees of a conference drawing only Italian attendees.

Room Tip: The higher the better, to get away from street noise; I was on top (7th) floor.

“Overrated!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 September 2011 via mobile

The Italian reception staff was rude when we asked questions;even if he's overwhelmed by the big number of guests who checked in that day,he shouldn't be.even the waiters were slow in serving our food! Overrated!
