We spent three nights at this charming hotel, which is so convenient for sightseeing and is just a short walk to the train station and metro. The staff were very welcoming and helpful, the room was spotlessly clean, although it was located on the side street where there is a market most mornings. We were offered another room but didn't bother, as we were so tired at night, we had no problem sleeping - the beds were very comfortable with lovely crisp clean sheets. Wi-fi was avaliable in the bedroom.I would recommend this hotel to family and friends without any hesitation. There is a lovely restaurant just across the street called Napoli - we would highly recommend it - friendly, good value and delicious.

We stayed at hotel Giuliana for 3 nights in Dec '11. Everything was perfect right from the moment we entered the hotel till the time we left. Location is pretty good, 15 minutes walk from Termini and manageable distances to other major attractions. Our room did look a bit small (we were 3) from outside but was very well maintained. Breakfast was great & served always with a smile :-) by Marilyn. Owners are just wonderful & take such care of you that you feel like at being home. Special Thanks to Antonio for nice chats in the nights & lending us some milk:-). Marianne & Ashwin were very helpful. All in all a great deal!

I stayed for a week in this hotel. I choose it because of its reviews, and it did not disappoint me ! It is a small hotel with 11 rooms, and for me it is ideal. I can recommend it to all. Top for its position and super service . The personnel is very kind ! They organized a transfer to and from the airport, all ok. The owners Jean & Marianna are the most kind people I have ever met , and very professional and ready to help. And even the other staff: Antonio, Ashwin, Federico and Marilyn. To you all thanks a million !

I returned home happy and satisfied . My holiday in Rome was unforgettable and I know I will return !

We chose hotel Giuliana after reading the positive comments on tripadvisor, and we weren't disappointed at all. The hotel is conveniently located about a 10-12 min walk from the Termini station and walking distance from the Colosseum and Roman forum. Its very easy to go anywhere in Rome from the hotel either by the Metro or any of the buses. The hotel staff were very nice and helpful to us, giving us directions and tips for the sights. We had an economy room which was modest. Keep in mind that the hotel rooms in Rome or Paris will be smaller than in US, unless you go to a chain or pay very high price. However, when we go to a new place we keep our mind open to enjoy new culture and customs so a smaller room and bathroom didnt bother us at all.
Many reviewers have complained about the noise, and again I would say, Rome is not a relaxing vacation at the beach. Its a bustling ancient city, so soak up the atmosphere instead of grumbling about noise! The breakfast was typical Roman affair, nice and light and suited us well (vegetarians), but don't go looking for heaping plates of eggs and meats. I would recommend Giuliana to all and would definitely return
