So i checked in okay, no problems. Room was a single and very small. The telephone was very dirty and the sheets on my bed does not appear to have been changed. After 2 nights stay, the electricity went out for about 5 mins. Everywhere else on the street seemed to have electricity. My TV remote wasnt working and breakfast is very basic, no eggs etc just croissants and dried tough bread. The bathroom had a bit of mildrew in the shower. The worst thing that happen to me the evening before i left. I came in to the hotel and a gentleman practically ran me down to ask me which room i was going to. I ignored him, as I've been staying in hotels for many years and have never encountered anything like this before. However, he followed me to the lift and i said to him if you want to know which room i'm in follow me to my room and you'll see. He then blocked the lift door and i had to take the stairs. Now i'm a black woman and do believe this is his reason for behaving in this manner. So I would urge black people who want to go to this hotel to think twice because some of the staff there are racist. Not all i must stress. Another thing i found unusual about this hotel is that they close their doors at about 11pm, so if you want to go out clubbing you have to knock the main doors to gain entry to the hotel. I have to say I've travelled all over the world staying in hotels and this is one of the most bizzarre, unusual and racist hotels I've stayed in.
