The front-desk ladies were great; Rita and Barbara were incredbily friendly and helpful. They were able to assist me with every request; from getting the TV to work to an adaptor for the power socket. I loved the location of the hotel; it was minutes away from the Vatican and shops and restaurants.

Although it was a comfortable stay at the hotel, I wished I had booked us into the Superior room instead as the Standard room was rather dated and the shower stall was tiny.

Absolutely delighted with our Visit to Rome and the hotel Florida. We booked last minute when another hotel let us down and got a discount on a superior room. When we arrived we were upgraded at no extra cost to a junior suite which was just newly renovated and had a view over the main street. The hotel is 10 minutes from the vatican and 10 - 15 mins accross the river (which is a pleasant walk) to Piazia Novona. We didnt use the metro at all as Rome is so beautiful you want to be out there enjoying it and the weather was fab.This hotel really was really worth 3 times more than we paid for the 3 nights.

Hotel in lovely location close to the Vatican. Less than 10 minute walk to the metro, metro was cheap and easy to use. Lots of nice restaurants around the hotel. We had a junior suite which was at the front of the hotel, it was clean, modern and very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast not good value or quality. Stay would have been impoved if there were tea and coffee making facilities and sky tv

The hotel was clean. The owner and people are absolutely fantastic and helped us out of a huge emergency with getting to our cruise on time. I would normally give this hotel a "4" because the bathroom is very small and the shower clogged and was tiny, but the owner is so wonderful and helpful that the hotel deserves a full 5. We were four in a room and it was tight (parents + 2 kids age 11 and 13). Wonderful location, close to Vatican, shops, great cafes and restaurants. Safe.
