“Comfortable, stylish, modern. Home away from home.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 13 February 2012

The hotel is conveniently located near the Colosseum in a nice neighbourhood with great restaurants.

The hotel itself was clean with great amenities and excellent front desk and concierge service.

Breakfast spread was wonderful, and if it wasn't winter it would be a perfect location to enjoy a start to your day with a beautiful view.

The hotel is also located outside the ZTL which makes getting to and from it easy for travellers driving to Rome.

“January Trip”

It is a beautiful hotel, situated close to the colleseum and forum. The best thing about the hotel is its distance from the touristic rome. Nearby are many restaurants, which have beautiful food, wine and service but you simply feel you are in a typical quarter of town. The hotel itself its perfectly maintained with lovely staff. Enjoying a breakfast - with a newspaper - cafe au lait - beautiful views and brilliant service is a real treat. I'll look forward to my next visit

“Small room, Great location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 February 2012

Stayed here as part of our honeymoon and was treated very good. Our room was standard but had a bottle of champaigne waiting for us.

The main thing that brought us to this hotel was the location as it an easy walk to the Colisseum and Forum. The hotel was a very nice rooftop that serves as a breakfast buffet in the morning. The buffet provided nice starts with fresh fruits and pastries.

There are several places to eat within a few blocks of the hotel. We ventured out late at night and never felt uncomfortable. There is restuarant with very good pizza one block to the northeast. Also, convenience store with water is two blocks as is gelatto and a deli for fresh sandwiches.

This hotel was worth every penny as we saved a lot of time in commutes.

“Hidden gem in this great city.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 February 2012

My wife and myself, along with four other couples stayed here for a friends birthday celebrations. So we didn't choose the hotel. But we are glad our friend did.
Just three or four minutes walk from the Colisseum up a quiet side street, it's a very modern looking building in an historic city.
The reception / bar area is very clean and tidy in both appearance and design. Although the bar appears to close not long after midnight. But the Irish Bar just down the road certainly doesn't!!

Our room (212) was directly opposite the lift doors. But not once did we hear anybody making any noise. Or even the lift doors opening.
The room was a good size, and featured the most comfortable bed I have ever had in a hotel. If I was to give a bad mark. Then it would be for the lack English speaking channels on the TV. Just CNN and Sky News. I'm not sure if the Porno's were in English, or just contained grunts and groans.

A decent sized bathroom had a sower over the bath, a toilet, and a decent are with wash basin and mirrors.

Breakfast is taken on the top floor (the fourth). From where you can actually see the top levels of the Colliseum. When we were there it was very busy around 9am, and this menat some folks had to wait for a table to become available. But the food was very good and varied.
There is a terrace area outside of the breakfast room. On a warm summers evening this would be a lovely spot for a drink or two after a tiring day in one of the worlds great cities.

Room Tip: Ask for a room facing the street at the front of the hotel. You will not see the Colisseum. But the...
