The hotel is small and intim. Rooms are clean , spacious and with style. Staff is ok and they help you to find out your ways in Rome. The hotel is located in Pariolli district which is a select residential area . Is not very close to the centre of Rome , but you can use either bus 217 to reach Termini Central Station Rome or metro line to Euclide station which is 800 meters form the hotel . Termini station can be reached from airport directly by train 12 euro (30 minutes ) or by shuttle bus in front of terminal T3 8 euros(1 hour)
Be aware that you need at least 3 days to cover at least the most important monuments of Rome.
Only negative commentary is related to the dog excrements . The whole Pariolli district is full of them so watch your steps.

Terrific disappointment! The hotel itself was fair/fine...not the worst, far from the best. But you dont go to Rome for a hotel, in fact, you go to see the sights, which were quite far away and inconvenient. The front desk staff on THREE occasions gave us wrong information about the bus lines and hours of operation. Cabs back and forth are a waste of time and money. Also the hotel tried to get us to pay an extra 15 euros for a cab ride to the airport, but don't let them! The service was uninspired and borderline unpleasant. A terrible hotel for tourists or anyone wanting any kind of a nightlife. We did manage, however, to have a lovely time in Rome in spite of this hotel and its negligence. If you want upscale but centralized, stay somewhere near the top of the Spanish Steps.

Got here late on a Friday feling hungry and thirsty only to see a sign saying "restaurant and bar closed ", When I asked why i was informed they were short of staff " not my problem " ended up having two conversations with front desk staff about this and got nowhere , They seem to think you pay for the room and not the amenties in the hotel ( so what makes a four star hotel ) answers on a postcard please to the hotel and you might have better luck than myself , luckily found a snack bar close buy that provided us with food and drinks at a good price .

The 3 of us stayed for 5 days in July. The rooms well clean, well maintained and quiet. The location of the hotel was about 8 minues from borghese park and a couple minutes away from the bus stops.

The breakfast was good although expect lighter foods. Such as breads, cheese, meat, fruit coffee, etc.. And looking around Italy food proportions definately play a part ina higher percentage of Americans being overweight. So a light breakfast is probably a good thing.

The staff was knowledgable and accommodating. However, we did have a couple of issues, and not so much a problem as an irritant. When we put up the "Do Not Disturb" signs the maid came in irregardless and cleaned our room while we were out. I suppose we really can't blame her for cleaning our rooms... Secondly, 2 of the Front desk people were excellent the 3rd however not so much. I came back after dinner and was asking him how best to travel to the Vatican from the hotel he explained the best course quite well. However, as I was leaving he commented to the bell hop in italian in frustration. He could of at least waited until I was out of ear shot.
