“had a great stay...”

My husband and i stayed in this hotel from the 5th feb until the 8th feb 2012. We arrived at 10 pm and were greeted with a smile. Check in was very quick and no problem. Our room was number 406 and when we opened the door it smelled fresh and was very clean. Good size with 2 double beds and a good sized bathroom which seemed quite newly done. Good shower and a hairdryer. When we were there it was freezing outside but the hotel was well heated and comfortable. Plenty of hot water in the morning. Breakfast was good. It included different breads and pastries, bacon ,eggs , cereals ,ham , cheese ,yoghurts , jams and spread , tea, coffee and juices. You will not need to eat elsewhere in the morning. In the tv area, tea, coffee and cold drinks are available all day and through the evening at no extra charge. Staff where always helpful and friendly and speak very good English. We would recommend this hotel because of it's location- 1 min walk to the termini station and within walking distance of many of Rome's tourist sites. We had a great time in Rome and enjoyed staying in this hotel.

“pick your room carefully”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

My friends had good rooms on LHS of front desk. For some reason my room {sharing with fellow travellers daughter} was on opposite side of hotel to my friends rooms. Our room was very 1950s and bleak, to be polite. The bathroom flooded when you had a shower, no way to avoid it. Dark room, window looked over roofs which were covered in rubbish people had thrown out and you looked into other flats. Staff said because our friends had 2 nice rooms one of us had to get the poor one and it was just our problem, refused to move us to be close to our friends. Position was good, room quiet for sleeping. Breakfast less than basic.

“Well Located”

The room was very basic but if you are only using it to literally lay your head somewhere in between site seeing then this is ideal but if your are seeking something a bit more luxurious i would not reccomend this. Bed was quite hard also.

The breakfast was good and staff seemed friendly and happy to help on reception and had no problem with us checking in quite early.

The location of the milani is very good, a two minute walk from Termini station where most coaches from either airport go to....and only a 10-15 minute walk from a lot of the sites.

“honesty and great staff”

My wife and I stayed in room 210.. LHS of reception-- it was just like in the photos . loved the room , would have been nice to have more English channels on the tv.. Had my own WiFi , as you can not always expect to get good wifi for free. there are a couple of cheap WiFi ,around the corner. Great location , near the Termi station. Staff were always friendy and courteous, especially the barman , had plenty of drinks at the bar , before we would go out to dinner--- Breakfast was ok . If we wanted a bigger breakfast there were plenty of other places nearby. Great Dinner restaurants , the Regina around the corner ... best homemade lasagne. Wife loved it

What we found the most of the staff and manager Mr Marrella, was their extreme honesty ..as i left my wallet in my bathroom on the day of departure with over $1600 Australian dollars in value .When i rang the hotel from the otherside of customs at the airport, the hotel staff alerted me to finding it in my room . The manager Mr Marrella did jump thru hoops and spent a lot of his time to help me organise an electronic transfer back to Melbourne Australia . I got my money and he posted my wallets back to me ..It is such a pleasure to recommend this hotel ..and the staff for their efforts.. would stay there again .

Room Tip: All the Rooms on the left hand side of receptionon the 2nd floor are great .the rooms on the RHS of...
