“Would not come back”

Stayed here for 2 nights, location is excellent. Close to colloseum and forum romanum hidden away in a small street. Rooms are ok but nit great. Hardly no lighting in the room, shower is old and wearing off. Great plus is that there is skytv - internet is available if you pay..but didnt work half the time we were there. Rooms are very small and not soundproof at all. I could hear all neighbouring rooms coming in late at night or waking up!! Doors are also not soundproof, you hear pple in tge corridors all tge time. Breakfast is not great, breakfast room is old fashioned and needa to be renewed. I would only come back for the location of thishotel.

This is a great place to stay! This was my second time in Rome and location of this hotel was absolutely great. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and big. Definitely recommend staying here and will stay here myself for my next trip.

“Great place to stay!”

My fiance and I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. It is in a great location if you're looking to explore Ancient Rome, which we were. The Colosseum, Roman Forum, Palatine Hill, Trevi Fountain etc., are within a reasonable walking distance. The Vatican was a bit of a trek (we took the bus), but even that was okay. The room was nice, and had a large bathroom. It is in a quiet area, which is great for sleeping. Two of the best features of the hotel are the adjustable air conditioning and satellite television. It was great for us Canadians to be able to get in out of the heat, and relax after a long day with some English language television, LOL. There is a great breakfast served each morning (croissants, yogurts, muffins, coffee etc.). Not what we're used to in North America, but still tasty. Finally, and most importantly to me, the staff was absolutely lovely. We had forgotten to print out our Internet-purchased Colosseum tickets, and the front desk staff let me use their computer and printer to get them. Such an understanding bunch! Everyone was all smiles and ready to help you as best they could.

Thank you so much to the Hotel Fori Imperiali Cavalieri for a wonderful stay! :o)

“Secret hideaway around the corner from the Colosseum & the Forum”

I will definitely stay here again in the Capitoline Hill area of Rome. Super location close to the Forum, the Colosseum and Via Cavour - the area's main drag. Map the hotel before you go. Via Frangipane is a small narrow cobble stoned street, it feels like an alleyway. Via Frangipane is rather quiet compared to loud Via Cavour. It's hidden location provides most of the hotel's charm. It is surrounded by restaurants at every turn. All types of shops can be found on Via Cavour. The hotel is small with 24 rooms and a rooftop terrace that gives you a decent view of surrounding buildings and a portion of the Colosseum. We stayed here twice - pre & post cruise. Our 1st room was on their first floor (American 2nd floor) & 2nd room was on their 3rd floor. Both rooms were the same class with a comfortable bed, 2 old musty sofa chairs, a wooden chair and worn out hardwood floors. Each room had an armoire holding a tiny LCD tv loaded with Sky Tv and its many channels, a safe and a minibar. Both rooms had 2 large windows- one in the bedroom and another in the bathroom. The bathroom is adequate with even a bidet, but the shower is extremely small for a large American. The breakfast is varied and pretty good. The front desk and breakfast attendant were all extremely and pleasantly helpful with any requests.

“Excellent location”

We stayed at this lovely hotel for 4 days. The location is excellent, very close to Colloseum and Colleseo metro station. The room was small, but clean and serviced every day. Breakfast more than ample, but the tables are very small and space is a problem, Paolo at Reception desk is a superstar and without his excellent knowledge we would have been lost more than once. If you are looking for affordable, clean hotel this is it.
