What a great find the YWCA was, 26 Euro per night (in a 3 person room) and that included breakfast.

Clean and comfortable rooms and bathrooms.

We ate lunch and dinner in the courtyard and were entertained by the sounds of African drums.

A wonderful market right at the front door - lots of fresh fruit for breakfast.

Close to Termini and within walking distance of some of the big attractions - Collosseum, Forum and Vittoria Emanuelle Monument, infact we walked everywhere from the Y.

There isn't a better deal to be found in Rome.

An excellent find for women in Rome - central, spotless, friendly, a great place to meet interesting people and excellent value. Men can be accomodated if accompanied by a woman.

If you can stand the 11pm curfew, this is the best value accommodation in the whole of Italy. The rooms and bathrooms are spotless, security is second to none, staff are friendly and efficient and the coffee at breakfast is the best in Italy! I thoroughly recommend it. I have stayed in both a twin room with own bathroom, also a 4 bed dorm and cannot fault either. Best kept secret (until now) in Rome. The daily market right outside the front door is excellent. If you need to leave earlier than 7am be sure to let the staff know the night before - it is impossible to leave before then due to high security. Loved it!
