My husband and I stayed here for two weeks to visit our son while he is at a Canadian University studying architecture in Rome. We wanted to have a kitchen in our room so that we could prepare some meals if we chose to. We chose the junior suite so that we could also have a sitting area separate from the bedroom. i have travelled a lot in Europe and was very pleased with the hotel and our rooms. The pool area was wonderful just to relax in after a day of sightseeing, and the beer is ice cold. The staff are very friendly and were able to steer us to local restaurants and a small supermarket, all within walking distance. The breakfast is truly outstanding. Rapael packed us an excellent "box breakfast' for a very early morning meal when we took a bus tour to Tuscany for the day.
Rome is a fabulous but of course very busy city and to walk through the park after being in crowds all day was heaven for us. Sometimes we would spend the better part of our day or evening there. There are places to eat, drink and just watch people walking their dogs in a huge area where the dogs can all play together. We took many evening strolls there as well, just stay on the well lit roads. I felt safe in the park, even when I was alone during the day feeding the ducks in their small lake or just sitting on a bench reading.
We walked everywhere, the Coliseum, Capitol Hill, museums and churches, only taking taxis at night if we wanted to go for dinner in the city centre.
We would not hesitate to return to this hotel!

Just returned from Italy, spent 5 days in Rome at the Aldrovandi Residences located across from the Villa Borghese. Our room was #106, 2 bedroom, two levels, 1 bath, kitchen. The rooms were older and the furniture was old and out dated. The 'lving area was made up of a futon type couch which made it very difficult for our family of four to relax after a day of sightseeing. The location was nice, across from the park and near the zoo but there were very limited restaurant choices within walking distance.
The hotel staff was wonderful, the included continental breakfast was well beyond our expectations and much more than 'continental' with eggs, meats, cereals, fruit and much more.

An excellent experience - spacious and very ralphlauren-ishly apartment, superbly nice staff, great swimming pool... at the cost of a standard three-star hotel. Only minus is the distance from center and thus the added expenses of using a taxi all the time. However, the local tram or bus can be used as a cheap means to reach the metro or other buses.
My child 3yrs was particularly happy about the zoo next door - - we saw huge white parrots and some antilopes from our window... free WiFi was a plus for me.

+beautiful hotel with classic decoration.The living room is big with tv set, dvd ,internet access ,kitchen with table.The sleeping room convenient,clean and cozy.The bathroom very clean(it includes hairdryer,amenities and clean towels every day ).

- no restaurants-supermarkets near the hotel.
the transportation from the hotel to the city center was not helpful(you have to walk 20 min to take a metro to center or take the bus outside the hotel change two metro lines and be in center in 60 min).
