“Compared to other options, not bad”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2010

If you want an American style hotel room, don't stay here. If you want a cheap, no frills Italian hotel room, this isn't too bad. Parking was handy and they let us leave our car there most of the second day of our stay for free. Only a few rooms have A/C and in the heat of the summer, you may want this (surcharge) as the hotel gets pretty hot. The free breakfast wasn't too bad; only complaint was no fruit at all. Proximity to Termini and both Metro lines is handy. A decent very cheap option in Rome. The rooms are outdated. The staff was very nice and helpful.

“Don't go there!!”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 May 2010

The hotel would be ok for a different price. But for the price it charges it is very very bad. The blanket had little holes and bloodstains on it. The bathroom is not really a bathroom. It is a toilet with a bidet, a washbasin....and then there is a sprinkler coming out of the wall in between the washbasin and the toilet. It is not possible to use the shower curtain, because it stinks and it the space is so small that you strike at it with every move. There is also no shower tray - thats why after having a shower the whole bathroom is under water (approx. 2 cm). The rooms stink - so you have to leave open the window all the time. There are stains on the wall - from former damages by water.
The breaktfast is awful - it is not as nice as you would expect it from the homepage!!! The service is ok. The location of the hotel is ok - it is near to metro and the train station termini - but in the neighbourhood there are quite a lot of homeless people - and it stinks like urine when you go the the hotel.....especially when it is warm outside.
So please don't go there! Believe us it is not worth the money!!!!

“Nightmare Hotel”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 September 2009

I stayed 4 nights at this terrible hotel. First the rooms were very old and stinky. Then once you open the room a strange disgusting smell comes from the bathroom, propably moss smell, you can feel it better once you take a shower in the very tiny shower cabin, which is full of moss. The bathroom itself is so tiny that you need to think before you turn to the left or right. Then the staff didn't care at all to change us the room, so not friendly at all. They didnt change the bedshits the time we were there. The breakfast was really poor, once you took a seat you have to wait 10-15 minutes before you got served the bread and the coffe and appart some sort of jams that was all the breakfast they could offer. The only thing might be the location just 200 meters from Termini Station.

“Worst Hotel Ever”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 July 2009

This was without a doubt the worst hotel experience of my life. I have never stayed in a place so terrible. Even though we paid for air conditioned rooms, the hotel did not honor our reservation. The rooms were tiny and hot and we could not even open the window because of drunk people breaking bottles outside. In addition the bathrooms were so small that you actually had to shower on the toilet. I've never seen anything like it. DO NOT STAY HERE.

“Small, but close to train station, free internet and great staff!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 July 2009

As a travel agent, I was looking for boutique budget, with a central location. The room was up 2 flights with a small balcony. The shower was in the middle of the small bath. You had to wrap the curtain around you. Clean but worn. Good cold breakfast and nice small bar. Lots of local shops, laundry and cafes nearby. Also walk to the hop on hop off bus tour, a gorgeous fountain a block behind the hotel. Must qualify the right people for the stay here. I would go back.
