Was a little hard to find after arriving at Rome Termini station via the Leonardo Express from the Airport but it is only about three blocks away. I picked this hotel because it had excellent reviews and my stay here was great! No complaints! Great price for room 80 Euro per night. Did not try the breakfast. Also there is a great reasonably priced pizza place a 2 minute walk away called Pizza Express you should try. I will come back to this hotel whenever I am in Rome in the future!

Stayed in this hotel about two years ago and was happy about it. So when I went to Rome again this month for two days, I booked this hotel straight away. It is simple clean hotel, nothing fancy. All what you need really. Spend there only few hours at night anyway, cause while in Rome who would like to stay in hotel room-). It was good price 50€ if u pay in cash, 60€ if u use credit card. Nice touch was a little bottle of Prosecco in our room. We did not buy the breakfast which is for 5€ a person so I can not comment on food. Termini station is 5mins walk. Plenty of food places around, but avoid La famiglia where we had really bad expierence. We were in nice home style food restaurant which the guy on reception recommended to us. Unfortunetely i cant remember the name, but it was basement entrance to the restaurant.
Anyway, i would always come back to this hotel and would recommend it to everybody.

A little hard to find even by the Taxi driver, but I was not disappointed. Located in a little nice, quiet neighborhood, along a cobblestone street with other hotels and restaurants close by. After checking in, I went up the 2 flights of stairs to my 4 bed mixed dorm. (You are given 3 different keys in which to get into the building, upstairs and then into your room. Whew! Though there was a small error in the booking about mixing older with younger people, there was no problem since there was only one other person in the room. Nice and clean with fresh bedding. Clean bathrooms and showers just a skip away with plenty of hot water. Very little space to hang clothes but a nice overhead shelf to put things along with a night stand. I liked the fact that the overhead shelf had a night light to read by and not disturb others. Wow what a really nice, all you can eat, FREE Buffet breakfast consisted of hard boiled Eggs, sliced meats, cereals, pastries, fruit, juice, tea and coffee. Forget your shampoo? They have these wonderful little samples you can try. Nice Touch. They did have free computers to use which was nice. A very large traveling library to peruse your heart out. The main bus and train station is about 3 blocks away where you can take the Tram to see Vatican City or the Colosseum. Nice, friendly staff, willing to help answer your questions about getting around the city. Thanks to all of the Staff for making my stay pleasant.

Once I got off the Termini and walked into the neighborhood where this hotel is at, I knew I was in for an unpleasant surprise. First off, this place is more of a hotel than a hostel. Second, this place is a converted apartment (flat) so the bathrooms are shared. The bathrooms ALWAYS smells like poop because of their plumbing. The hostel part starts and ends in the room because there are no common area for others to mingle.
And at night, because this "hotel" is on the 1st floor(2nd floor for USA), you hear all the drunks screaming and yelling at night. You hear all the cars screeching as they pull in and out of the lot.
Restaurant choices are pretty poor unless you like doner kebabs.
The owner never mentioned anything about breakfast so maybe my former Aussie neighbor who stayed here on the 10th had something special. Also, its a far walk from anything and everything unless you like to see drunks in the park, criminals in the Termini and people selling pashmina in the streets.
The good: The beds are comfy, no sagging. The cleaning lady does the beds. So far so good in cleanliness.
If you like the price, then ask for a room AWAY from the streets and some of the problems will disappear.
