“Good Value for Rome”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 31 December 2010

I felt very safe and comfortable here. Was a short walk to Piazza Navona and the Pantheon. I caught a taxi from the airport but would not like to be trying to find it on foot. I had asked for a balcony but didn't get one - the room was very small but had all I needed and a view across the roof tops of the beautiful old buildings surrounding the hotel. And lets face it if you're in your room too long why are you in Rome? Reception staff were very helpful and was good value for Rome! Great breakfast. I would stay again.

“Perfect Location, Friendly & Helpful Staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 December 2010

Believe the reviews, the location of this hotel is perfect. We walked to the Vatican in about 20 minutes and we were just about 5 minutes from the Piazza Navona. For the metro, we walked over to the Spanish steps stop not too far away -- about 15 minutes.

The hotel was on a nice quiet street. As other reviews have said, the staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, especially the owner. Our room was small, including the bathroom, but comfortable. The breakfast area was large and appealing, and the breakfast itself was excellent.

“Great position for sightseeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 20 August 2010

No nonsense - no frills, but the reception staff were extremely helpful. Useful bookshelf of travel guides to Rome.

“Lovely little hotel in excellent position”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 July 2010

This little hotel is really excellent. Certainly the rooms are small, but what do you expect in Rome for the price? We were given accommodation on the top floor, which meant a small flight of stairs as the lift didn't go all the way up, however it was worth it to have a large private roof terrace - terrific to sip a glass of wine after a hard days sight-seeing, and watch the sun set over the rooftops of the Eternal City. The staff were more than friendly and helpful, breakfast very good. If you go, ask Cynthia about the seagulls with lights on thier wings......

“Located in an excellent location near the river and not far from the Spanish steps”

After I wandered around a bit discovered this B & B was in a nice location but without a taxi driver might not been able to find it as easily but it can be done. Near the Pantheon and not far from the Trevi Fountain and of course shopping in some of the high end Italian brand name stores. Lovely dining room and living room and staff very helpful with directions and all arrangements. Single room, unlike doubles, was very small but they had informed me so it wasn't quite as much of a surprise but once I settled in and was gone most of the time it didn't matter. Rome is expensive to stay and a good location is important. Great restaurants all around and of course lots of piazas.
