“Perfect location and set-up”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 January 2012

We checked in with a pet, this was no problem for them and they did not charge us more for this. We also had a no smoking room which really was a non smoking room - sometimes we have encountered rooms sold as non-smoking, but reeking of smoke nevertheless.
We stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed every minute of it. The restaurant offered sumptuous meals and was able to accommodate special dietary needs. The New Year's party was excellent too - good food, good music and great service. The room had all the important features and we loved the shower, which was surprisingly roomy compared to other hotel showers we have previously encountered in Italy.

This is a stone's throw from lake EUR and also EUROMA2, a major shopping mall with great store and restaurant options.

“Old fashioned, noisy,...”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

This hotel is old and noisy, poor location. The room I got smelled bad (despite I asked a smoke free they gave a room that smelled like tobacco). When you open the windows there's a lot of noise.

“Quite good. Let down a little by location.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 21 July 2011

Stayed here on a one night business trip. Quite stylish athough in a rather dated way. The tired decor was compensated for by some high quality specification - floor tiles, bathroom suite, wooden ceilings etc. The room was a little disappointing, cramped as is typical of Rome, with a poor desk. The restaurant is very stylish, with a great terrace and excellent food. The location of the hotel is not so pretty, dominated by a busy road and the trip to the centre is a fair walk. Value for money wise, at £140/night, a little expensive and while fine for a business trip not quite passig my would pay with my own money test.

“very nice hotel and room, good overall experience”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 November 2010

being a frequent business traveller, this hotel is welcomed, in its greenery and food so easily available in a resort style ambience right next door. there is an affordable deli for lunch/bfast, gelati, a great seafood restaurant, good breakfast with good service. having stayed at another hotel in rome right in the tourist center, the service and breakfast here is definately better. The room is fantastic, big and there is a sofa with coffee table (so maybe it's a suite), the bathroom is large with a strong rain shower. there is some noise is the morning, namely the road facing the hotel with sirens going off at least 3-4 times in the only morning that we stayed there. Overall, this hotel has enough charm to overcome this minus. considering that we have a balcony with a garden view (a fruiting orange tree), overlooking the restaurants' cute little modern chimneys with the pine trees so common on the roads to rome. It's much better than facing a brick wall/apartment in the centre of rome.

“Excellent service, peaceful atmosphere, clear rooms.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 October 2010

The service was excellent. The staff was very polite, trying to satisfy every need of the clients. We are sure that such staff has not to be afraid of unemployment and crisis. The breakfast was rich. Most interestingly the hotel was very clear and peaceful. Unfortunately we could stay there for two nights only. We shall definitely prefere to stay there, next time that we shall visit ROME, despite the unfavorable location. (The EUR area is outside the Historical center).
