I was "walked" here by the sister hotel, Villa Morgagni, and not happy about it after a long day, but the Homs proved to be a very nice property. Unusual, but comfortable, rooms, with unique bath in each. Very comfortable beds, a good breakfast, nicely kept hotel. Staff was very helpful and, in some cases, absolutely charming.The hotel's location near the Piazza di Spagna and the Via del Corso is convenient with loads of shopping and restaurants nearby. Rooms are priced very reasonably making the Homs a true value.

I selected this hotel because it was a smaller hotel. The location near the Spanish Steps, good shopping, and even within easy walking distance to Trevi Fountain and on to the Colosseum. The staff was friendly, the rates were fair and the room very confortable. We would definately return

This hotel is in a perfect location just a block away from the Spanish Steps. We arrived late in the day but were greatly warmly and promptly and taken to our rooms. We only stayed overnight, but when I was researching hotels, I was looking for something in a good location, that was a good hotel, and at a reasonable price since I was looking for two single rooms. Well, this lived hotel lived up to the expectations. The hotel is small with a tiny lobby, but it is nicely decorated and clean. The rooms were also very nice and clean. But be warned, there is a reason why single rooms are so cheap here....they are tiny! But, I did know this before I arrived, so it wasn't really a surprise. In fact, most hotel rooms in Europe are pretty small. But single rooms here are about 10 ft x 10 ft. But, if you just want a clean and comfortable place in a great location and don't need to spend a lot of time in your room, this is the perfect place!

Hotel Homs did everything we asked it to -- we had a comfortable stay, the rooms were clean, the staff helpful enough, and the price did not break the bank. But it's the location that is really the star here. Scores of restaurants, bars, gelaterias, pastry shops, and attractions (esp Spanish Steps) all within strolling distance from this hotel. Plus it has a little corner cafe as part of the hotel's corner where we had coffees, biscuits, and champagne. We walked to all locations in downtown Rome, including the Colosseum, the Vatican, and all major Piazzas. Bottom line is we had a blast and the Homs was a nice place to come back to at the end. What more do you need? :)
