The lobby of the hotel was nice enough, the rooms were a bit small and were quite outdated, but that wasn't a concern for me really. The problem I had with this hotel was the bathroom. Very old, definitely not cleaned thoroughly, as evidenced by the mold/black rot at the bottom of the ridiculously small showers. Overweight Americans beware of that shower! The room we had was on the 4th floor and the single, ancient lift was never worth waiting for, so again if you have a problem with walking a few flights take note. The staff was very helpful, arranged a car for us to the airport our final day, and recommended some great restaurants in the neighborhood. The location is great, very close to the Vatican and walking difference to Piazza di Popola and other big attractions.
