“Great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 February 2012

Stayed for 4 nights at Christmas. Great place to stay, just a few minutes walk from the main train station. Clean, comfortable, rooms are small, but it is very reasonably priced. You get a free drink token for the bar across the street upon check in. Friendly helpful service, English spoken. Assorted tea and coffee available whenever (they do shut it down late at night, but will open it up for you if needed). Internet in the lounge, or if you have a cord plug-in in the room.

“Excellent Location, Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

Very convenient location, 5 minutes walk from Termini station. Reasonable priced and clean, modern rooms. The Yellow Bar across the road is the perfect place for meeting other young travelers. Would be happy to stay here again.

“Great location and value. No negatives”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

We have stayed at the Romae twice. Once with a our family of six and more recently just with our oldest son (23). We knew the location was good but it seemed even more perfect this time. We walked everywhere, including up to Maxxi, Villa Borghese and down to Popolo, Navone, Trevi etc, etc., Once you have the right shoes you can walk everywhere which means you get to see everything and build up a good appetite for all the Italian food. Our room was spotless and spacious and whilst the wireless did not stretch to our room, we used the computer and the wireless in the common area where we also appreciated the free tea and coffee on offer. The hotels breakfast arrangement with the Yellow across the road is a great idea and we had a quick filling breakfast there each morning.
The restaurants in the area are a little more expensive than some you can find in town but the food was excellent and very authentic.
There is a Conad in Terminii and another just up the road if you want to buy refreshments as the room has a fridge.
Proximity to Terminii is also a bonus if taking day trips or connecting with the airport.
If we are luck enough to get back to Rome for a third time we'll definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Courtyard rooms are quietest although we had no trouble sleeping in the front of the hotel either

Thank you for your kind comments, the feedback from our guests is very important to us, and it was a pleasure to have you stay with us again.
We're glad you enjoyed the breakfast, our friends at the Yellow Bar tried to create a breakfast menu for everyone's liking including, "The Italian job", "Fitness", "Egg omelette and the "Propa English" one (a good fry-up).

We very much look forward to seeing you again, having you stay with us if you can make it back to Rome.

“Reasonably priced”

Stayed here twice. The location of the hotel is walking distance (5mins) from Termini Station (Main Station). It's easy go around Rome. There are nice little restaurants around. Their breakfast is quite good. Internet is quite stable. Fresh fruit upon arrival and you can feel free to enjoy coffee or tea in their comfy waiting area. They have friendly Filipino waiting staff at their restaurant. Receptionists are all very nice. My favorite was Anca, she was very informative, smart and offered good help.

Would love to come back.

Room Tip: highest floor offers good view of neighboring buildings

“We loved Hotel Romae”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 6 January 2012

I've now stayed in Hotel Romae during two trips to Rome. My first time I was the leader of a student group and the second time I brought my family. In both cases, Romae was fantastic.

I'd echo what everyone else said-- great rooms, incredibly comfortable beds, distinctive style, wonderful and immensely helpful staff. The family had absolutely NO complaints. And it IS a terrific location--there are nice local restaurants nearby (Mamma Angela is the best on the street, but Pretoriana has nice pizzas and a friendly and attentive staff and Secolo on the corner has good pizza to go) but also pastry shops, the ATM, a grocery store (Sigma), a taxi stand, etc. It's a great base of operations for touring Rome.

We love Hotel Romae!
