This was not a good experience! I had not chosen this hotel but was sent there due to an overbooking error at its sister hotel. The beds were uncomfortable but the bathroom was clean. The room was at the front of the hotel which was soo noisy (even throughout the night). The lift only goes from the 1st floor so a struggle to get luggage to the room and you still have to navigate stairs all the way. Breakfast was poor. I would not recommend this as it certainly wasn't a budget hotel!

We arrived at the Hotel and the room they gave us smelt of smoke. so we asked to change it. They gave us another room which looked ok, but over the front of the hotel and road. After unpacking, we then found TV , Air Conditioning, didin't work. Bathroom had blocked shower drain, and no plugs in the bidet or sink. also the bathroom window was screwed shut.
We obviously complained, they offered us another room, but this was poor and looked very well used and mucky. So we said we would stay in the room if they fixed everything. We arrived Sunday by Wednesday still nothing fixed. We had a shrug and sarcastic comment from the male receptionist, who couldn't care less.
Eventually we spoke to the female manager who fixed the shower herself, and the rest was done next day. Apart from the air conditioning.
Two other couples moved out-because their rooms were aweful!
Some further bad points- The Hotel is over a supermarket, they start work at 6am so lots of noise. Market trader sets up around 7am outside the entrance. Two beggers next to Hotel entrance every day. The walls in the corridors are all scuffed and need painting.
Breakfast OK but boring. Coffee aweful unless you pay extra for freshly made. The owners need to sort out the problems and attitude. I was assured of a nice room. If that was a nice room I would hate to stay in the worst! I would rate as a two star. Beds are foldups. pillows dirty. Look elsewhere!

Arrived at Hotel late at night and checked in no problems, rooms were clean and tidy bathrooms were lovely had no problems with water etc, fridge in room was great, beds were comfy and cleaned on a daily basis and fresh clean towels provided every day, breakfast was served in dining room from 7am till 10am everyday and was more than adequate, Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and there is a supermarket right under hotel for anything else you require...... I dont understand why some people choose to complain about the San Giusto on this as we would definately come back again..

Please avoid this place!
It is really run down a real budget accommodation, 2 stars at the most!

The bed's are basic stretchers, the minibar is a run down (dirty) fridge.
The shower has to run for 10 minutes for some "hot" water.
