We spent 4 weeks in Italy, October 2011, the last week was a 7 day RCL cruise in and out of Civitecchia. The Royal Santina was our RCL post cruise hotel. We should have made our own arrangements at a hotel near the airport. as this hotel is no where near the airport but is very near the main Roma train Termini. We past the airport in the RCL shuttle and drove all the way back into Rome. It cost quite a bit the next morning to taxi back out to the airport early in the morning.
Decor was garish neon and staff was abrupt. Nice bathrooms.

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights prior to a cruise departing from Civitavecchia. The hotel was very close to Termini Station. We arrived at FCO, hopped on a train and were at the hotel in a short time. The hotel was clean, modern, and included a free breakfast. The location was great and provided lots of travel options to see the sites in Rome. After we finished our stay, we returned to Termini and took a train to Civitavecchia. It was very convenient.

We had a blast at this hotel! the Staff were very helpful, courteous, happy to help overall. We enjoyed the company of the bartender after a night out on the town one evening and he was happy to hear our stories of what we'd seen that day!

I found the property to be most adequite. The room was clean, comfortable, quite, and pleasantly differant. The contemporary styling with mood lights was a refreshing change from the typical drab hotel room. The staff was friendly but not over bearing. The breakfast buffet was good and certainly pleantiful. Because of the lack of consistancy of the Best Western brand I was somewhat reluctant to select Hotel Royal Santina. However, I was very satisfied with my selection and would stay here again. A pleasant surprise is the Airport Express Bus terminus is right outside the front door. I arrived from the airport on the Leonardo Express.train. Although the train station is across from the hotel it was not convenient to the airport train located at a remote area of the station. Otherwise, the hotel is very convenient to inter-city trains, the local bus center, Metro, and tour busses.
