This hotel was beautiful. The rooms were clean and the hotel well kept. Front desk staff seemed confused, but eventually processed our reservation. My biggest issue is that the hotel is located too far from the center of Rome. You are better off staying in a smaller hotel near the center of town. This reservation was made by a travel/tour company. We weren't staying lond and had been to Rome before so It wasn't a big issue on this trip. First timers to Rome should consider staying "in town".

This hotel was part of the tour package but we were not too terrible exited about it. We were not able to turn on the air conditioner in our rooms even after several notifications to the from desk. The last excuse they gave me was the a/c could not be turned on due to security reasons. Never was able to figure that out. But the lobby was at a very nice temperature all the time. There was no free WiFi access. It cost me 7 Euros (almost $10US) per use at the comfy lobby. My sister and wife both had very unpleasant incidents with the restaurant personnel also, very sad; not to mention the not too friendly hotel staff. The worst part of the whole thing was the distance of the hotel to the center of Rome. We needed to take a bus and the subway for this half hour trip. The nearby restaurants were not too close neither. My best advice, do your homework before booking this hotel.

We stayed at the Aran park during our trafalgar tour in Italy, the hotel is just fine, the rooms are clean, and we asked for one without moquette so we were allocated a room on the 5th floor, that we found just great. Breakfast was served at the roof top restaurant, it was croudy but just fine comparing with the other hotels during our trip. Staff was cordial and helpful. And the bartender wad excellent ( try his bloody mary)

Hard to believe that this hotel has 4 stars. My room was basic and had no desk to work from. TV small and old. Cobwebs in the lampshade and the plug release in the basin had lost its knob and was difficult to pull. The wardrobes appeared locked so I lived out of my suitcase for 2 days. Nice veranda but no furniture out there. The bed was firm and I slept well. The buffet on offer was poor and and looked and tasted as if it had been left there for hours. Dessert was chocolate cake, take it or leave it. I ate out on my second night. No problem with the staff who appeared friendly.
