“NOT 4 star”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 January 2012

In our room the shower fixture was broken so that the shower head could not be held up and the floor did not drain. Exposed wires were hanging out of the wall in the room. The decor was generally cheap and not in good condition. The room faced the street and was quite noisy.

Every mirror in the lobby bathroom is smashed. There is no lighting in the stairway and the lifts are unreliable.

The concierge wanted to keep our passports for the duration of our stay and room keys everytime we left the hotel.

I have stayed in nicer hostels.

“Strange 4 stars???”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 12 December 2011

This hotel according to European standards isn't even a 2 star hotel, let alone 4 stars. It might have been a 4 star hotel decades ago.

Apart from the shabby, tiny, poorly furnished and equipped rooms and bathrooms the carpets and sofas don't seem clean. The breakfast is very poor. The staff was friendly, that is the best we can say about this said to be 4 star hotel!
How can this hotel be classified as 4 stars? Only to mislead guests and to cash. There were other guests at the hotel that shared our views. We have photos that prove this.

The lifts are something unseen! There aren't any facilities for handicapped people as per European regulations and norms.

This is not acceptable. It is not worth what is charged.

hallo all. i been in that hotel a few weeks ago for one week. the hotel got a good location. you can walk to any where and there is a lot of bus options. nice and simple breakfast . they clean the room every day. small but very nice room+tv inside. my problem was the service from one of the reception guy.( i think that his name is maximove or marsimove- guy with a
beard).in the 2-3 times that i ask him for direction to somewhere he do an ugly face and start to mumbling something and was very nervous !! i trip a lot, its never happend to me!!
MAYBE ITS NOT IS JOB BUT I THINK ITS PART OF SERVICE....
THATS ALL .
ENJOY YOUR TRIP.

it is a pleasant hotel in a good location. you can walk to historical center, but the neighborhood is non-touristy. many others in the hotel appeared to be Italian business travellers.
