“Ok place”

We stayed for 3 nights here, clean but very small room;it was our first time in Rome but guessing the sizes were fairly the same as any European rooms. Breakfast was ok.But there are lots of places to eat anyway as near the Termini station (about 2 mins) so it was never a problem. the hotel is also near the bus stations, we used the hop-on hop-off bus during our stay and we could always go back to the hotel for a quick shower at noon ( it was a very hot summer) then hop on the bus again for the rest of the afternoon sightseeing. The place seemed safe to stay despite it being near the Termini station. This hotel is good if you stay for a few days and you want a clean and safe place to stay. Also it helps if you only have a small luggage, as not much space in the room.

“last time”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 January 2012

Location is close to train station, within walking distance. The staff was very helpfull and freindly. Very small room, tiny bathroom and shower. There are tea making facilites in the bedrooms. The breakfast was below average and the price was very high. The air conditioning did not work. I won’t come back.

“Recommended for Budget travellers”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 23 January 2012

A small hotel with excellent location, 2 mins from Termini station. Lots of good close by restaurants (walking distance). Rooms are extremely small and you barely have space for 1 suit case, the view was terrible... On the other hand buffet breakfast has a wide variety of delicious items all types of pastries, cold cuts, cheeses etc. veery good :)
I recommend the hotel for budget travellers, especially in terms of distance you will find everything absolutely close. Benefit from the street vendors that are 2 mins away from the hotel selling bags, clothes, shoes etc..

“Great Hotel near Termini”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 14 January 2012

My wife and I stayed 2 weeks in Rome at the Ariston. It was ideal for getting around Rome for the first time. It is only one block from the Termini station where you can catch a train to other locations. The bus station is right next to that. We spent several days on the Amalfi Coast and the high speed train to Naples was great. We ate breakfast at the Ariston each morning before headding out to see Rome. The breakfast was very good and filling. The rooms we stayed in were a euro-modern, comfortable and clean. It had a safe in the room so you could safely store passports and computers. There are many restaurants, shops, banks, in the area. There are several sights in this area like Basilica St Majore, and The National Roman Museums. We walked to the collusium and forum. Other sights were very accessible by bus. At night we would return from a long day of sightseeing and stop in the hotel bar and have a few drinks. The bar has good appetizers and some nights this was enough to fill us up before going to sleep.
We really enjoyed our stay in Rome and I think it would not have been as enjoyable if we didn't have such nice place to call home. I will stay at the Ariston next trip.
