“Loved this Hotel..Cannot wait to go back!”

We traveled Italy for 9 days with our teenage sons. This hotel was our favorite by far. The location couldnt have been better. We were able to walk to many places. The hotel is a small boutique type and has a great feel. Everyone was very friendly. We had two rooms - one on the 4th floor and suite 501, which is their best room, the Piranesi Suite. We absolutely loved 501. One of the nicest rooms we have ever stayed in. There was a roomy living room, comfortable bedroom, nice size bathroom, beatiful built ins all throughout the suite, small kitchen and a magnificent private pourch area. We werent able to use the porch due to the time of year we visited. The breaksfast was delicious - great variety - cheeses, meats, fruit, pastries, cereals, juices and the brew fresh coffee for each person. Room 401 was smaller, but my two teenage boys were perfectly comfortable in it. I would stay there again and recommend to my friends.

“Can't beat the location”

Stayed two nights with my husband before departing on a cruise. The location is outstanding on Via Babuino between Spanish Steps and Piazza del Populo. Staff very helpful; hotel clean and quiet. Loved enjoying a drink at the end of the day on the rooftop terrace. Buffet breakfast fresh and sufficient for us. Our particular room was nicely appointed albeit the space a bit tight. However, we had a balcony which we enjoyed and gave the illusion of much more space with the doors open; the marble bathroom was quite roomy. Recommend Edy's for dinner...less than 5 minutes from the hotel. Head towards the Spanish Steps and I believe it was down the second or third alley on your left. Great food at a very decent price. Get the house red and enjoy!

“Always shines”

We have now stayed at the Piranesi four times--what always captures our interest is simply how delightful this place truly is. You get to stay in the best part of Rome (two Caravaggios across the piazza), the decor is finished and elegant, the price is right (fine, go ahead, check out the place across the street--400 Euro more and all the pretension money can buy), and the welcome, warm and heartfelt.

So, if smart and understated is attractive, you'll feel right at home. Never disappointed. Always impressed.

just a block away, around the corner is a Sicilian gelateria--they'll know at the front desk

“Great location - worth a stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2010

We stayed at the Piranesi during a very nice period for Rome (autumn - less tourists, not too hot). The hotel's location is great - right next to Piazza del Popolo, 5 mins walk from the Spanish steps (and underground).

The standard rooms are small but with a good layout. The service was very friendly and helpful. We did not have any experience with their f&b.

If you go to Rome for a (long) weekend - this is really a hotel I can highly recommend.
