“there is always one that spoils it”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 8 February 2011

We arrived at the hotel at around 1pm in the afternoon to check in, the rooms were not ready yet so the reception guys gave us directions to get a drink and a bite to eat. Once Checked in the rooms were fantastic lovely and clean , very comfortable beds.
We asked reception on the best way to get into Rome to do some sightseeing, and they were really helpful, they told us that prking in Rome is free on a Sunday, which was fab as we were gonna get the train or bus.
We came back to the hotel in the evening to have the set meal for 15euros, we went into the resturant upstairs we sat down and waited 10 minutes for the menu, placed our order for the set meals, when the lasagne came out it was luke warm but edible especially as we were hungry from all the walking around in Rome.
We then waited a further 30 mins for second course which was 2 pieces of roast pork and side plate of carrots in butter, very disapointing, the meat was freezing it was as if the chef had forgot to heat it up, we asked the waiter to take the plate back and warm up the meat so they did.
10 mins later it came out full of steam as we asked for it to be re heated, when it was time for deserts 3 of us placed our order when i turned to see whatmy friend wanted i was faced with a plate flung on the table at me and him walking away.
We spoke to the managaer and his was very apologetic, the Hotel was fantastic its just a shame that it was let down by the meal, oh and the bar should have opened at 4pm but it had to stay closed as they were short staffed in the resturant.

Small rooms. AC was unserviceable.
Refuse our request for extra stand for our second suite case. One per room only!
Location is far from downtown but next to a mall, bus stop and on to the metro.
Travel to downtown approx. 30 minutes.
Facilities are clean.
Front desk staff friendly.
Breakfast included.
Paid 600 US for 4 nights.
This is a 3 star hotel at max.

“Nice Hotel, Location Only Problem”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 October 2010

We decided on this hotel having read through the reviews of several places in Rome. The initial reaction on arriving (in the dark, about 10pm) was that it appeared to be in a bit of a dodgy location. Daylight brought a slightly different opinion, but it certainly seems to be well away from any local shops (but does back on to an enormous shopping mall - Euroma 2).
I was a bit surprised at how far the walk to the Metro station was - it's certainly not the 5-10 minutes some of the other reviews seemed to suggest, probably more like 20-25.
The trick with this was to get a weeks ticket from the Metro station, which gives you bus travel as well. There's then about 5 buses that pretty much run between the Metro and the hotel, but be a bit careful about which ones you get back - only three of them stop right outside the hotel.
The Metro itself is probably about 20 minutes into the city centre, but we did struggle a bit with the Termini station, where the two Metro lines cross over. There's a lot of building work going on, and you have to take some major detours when swapping between the lines.
The hotel itself was nice and clean, although the TV channels are somewhat limited, and while wi-fi is available, it was 6 Euro for a 24 hour card. The room had working aircon, window shutters, and a little balcony (but unfortunately it overlooked the car park and the back of the shopping centre!) We didn't have any dinners there, but breakfast was more than adequate. The staff were very friendly, and as ever most of them were English speaking. If you don't want to eat in the hotel (I think the evening meals were about 20 euro), there are lots of food places in the shopping mall, which are open till 10pm. Prices there seemed to be about 10 Euro for a main course.
Overall, I'd be happy to go there again.

“A bit too far from centre of rome”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 10 August 2010

Road the hotel is situated on is very busy you take your life in your hands every time you left the hotel. So not very good if you have small children. Rooms were clean and tidy as we only used them as a base . Possibly a bit too far from centre of Rome but we caught the 780 bus from bus terminal at the top of the road from hotel, even though it was about 10 stops until you reached the centre it was very simple and they ran every hour.
Pool okay could of been slighty bigger for the size of hotel. Only down size nowhere to go in the evening for quiet drink after long day sightseeing.
