“Good location”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed 19 September 2011

This hotel is in a good location, on a quiet street, near some good restaurants, a great wine bar and close (next street) to public transport (buses) which take you to all the main sights. The hotel is welcoming and the service is very good, the front staff are helpful. However, I absolutely agree with another reviewer about a room ending in 3. We were in room 603 (top floor) and it was tiny, with only a small window facing a wall 3 feet away. The linen on the bed had holes in it. The beds (twin) were small. There were no extra pillows. The plumbing in the bathroom needed attention; it was impossible to shower without flooding the entire bathroom floor. The breakfast room is in the basement, so no windows; the choice of breakfast, particularly fruit was very limited. We did not use the bar, it did not look at all welcoming. Our room made us feel that it was not good value.

“Such helpful staff”

Stayed 4 nights. Concierge staff were very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Room didn't have a view but it was well equipped, clean and of a very decent size. Location near the metro and within walking distance of the main sights if you're fit.

“location !!!! and the staff !!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 16 August 2011

We have 3 nights hotel.
Location The hotel is quiet and picturesque neighborhood, Near the hotel there are at least 6 restaurants and a special ice cream parlor and excellent.
Nearest metro station is the Republic Square and can be reached at five-minute walk.
Also Barberini Square is a 10 min walk.
Double room is spacious and comfortable and there is an elevator (a bit slow ...) but the main thing is the reception charming and friendly hotel.
Upon entering the hotel has a pleasant smell and always greet you a "good night / good morning" including a smile ... :-)
Breakfast is quite standard but who have a meal at the hotel when in Rome ... Food is relatively cheap in Rome and very tasty ... Especially cappuccino, ice cream and ...the Pizzas !!!!
we liked this hotel and we definitely came back in the future. thank's.

“Baileys hotel -Rome, Italy”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 26 July 2011

The hotel staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is very clean and neat and they are able to converse in English. The buffest breakfast is good with a steaming hot coffee but the varieties are less. The only exception is that the room size is very small and can accomodate only maximum number of 2 persons.

“Great Hotel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 June 2011

We were a family of three staying in Rome for 7 nights.
Rooms were great - Service was great especially Gerald who was most helpful . All the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast room was cosy the food limited but something to suit all tastes. The staff helped to book all tours and restaurants and taxis complete with maps directions. Cafes , Restaurants and cash machines all round the corner.
Hotel very pleasant , friendly , convenient and quiet. The aircon was very efficient and adjustable. Marble reception area small lounge area and great marble bathroom.
We have no hesitation in reccommending this hotel as a good base for sightseeing in Rome

Room Tip: Book roadside room.
