“The worst hotel ever. They stole us.”

The hotel is dirty, doesnt have hot water, it says they have parking, but they dont have.

Service is awful.

We paid for a luxury room, they gave us a standart one, but didnt give our money back.

We have a video that the manager promise to give the refound, and another video in the check out when another employer says that they'll keep our money.
Never go there!

Dear Guest,

We really regret to receive your comment. First we would like to inform you that our hotel has a private parking lot at the back of the building available for all guests, probably in the period you stayed here the hotel was fully booked and therefore there were no vacancies. The only time we had some trouble with the hot water it was solved immediately. We also would like remember you that all common areas and rooms are accurately cleaned everyday.

Unfortunately we do not have enough information, name and staying dates, to reply your complaint but we would be pleased to collect details about it so please write us in private so that we can investigate and reply accordingly.

Thank you and regards

“Lovely Hotel”

This hotel is lovely with a great receptionist who is very helpful in finding restaurants, attractions, and taxis. The room we had was a family room, very spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent and alot of variety. The location was a bit out of the way for the metro, but if you don't mind walking its fine. Definitely recommend this hotel.

“Historic and grand but in need of a make over”

I stayed at the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi on a ten day business trip. There is no doubt that this is a hotel that is in many ways a stunning representation of history. The 500 year old Chapel in the hotel is stunningly beautiful and the large common lounge area is classic and elegant. Whilst my room was small, it was cosy, and was certainly enough for a weary traveller and the bed was comfortable. A big sash style window could be opened for fresh air and this was a real plus. The courtyard below my window was charming.
However, with history comes age and this was evident in some of the 'cover up' refurbishment done in the rooms. The ceilings in my room had signs of mould and the bath needed replacing as did the clean but aged basin. I did not use the air conditioning because I felt the mould was probably through the filters there as well. Like many European hotels, there was no iron in the room and I had to share the iron and ironing board with the whole hotel. The staff had no idea where the iron was once it was borrowed. Whilst the staff were friendly enough, they were quite reserved and when I got caught in the tiny lift for over half an hour with 5 other people they refused to open up another entry with a stairwell for us to use because they said it was a security risk. To be fair, this was probably true, but this meant that the tiny lifts were overcrowded constantly and I lived in fear of another 'trapped' episode throughout my stay. The hotel is oddly converted into a maze of floors that did not seem to follow logic and one never quite knew where some of the rooms were - numbers that should have followed a logical sequence did not and I ended up completely lost looking for colleagues a number of times.
Breakfast was reasonably good but the dinner we had provided for our group was poor to say the least. Staff were not always warm or welcoming in the breakfast room or dining room either. One plus is the position which is without a doubt fantastic and within walking distance of everything I needed. Would I stay there again? Possibly but would like to see some serious renovation work done in places.

“don't know what people are complaining about....”

I have to write this review as we have just returned from a weekend at the Antico Palazzo Rospigliosi and wanted to share our experiences. We found the location fantastic, VERY quick walk from Termini, and an easy walk to many of the sights. The open top bus tours stop outside the hotel and there are many good restaurants nearby. The hotel was very clean, the staff very friendly, the room & bathroom big very comfortable, and breakfast excellent. Now it may be that we have been in Italy too long (been living in Napoli for 2 years) and have got used to all things Italian, but personally speaking we thought this to be an excellent choice for central Rome, and also very good value for money. Don't be put off by previous people, for us, it was excellent.

Room Tip: We booked a quad for us and our 2 kids and it was plenty big enough.
