Even at the entrance you will see it is a 3 star european standards. More a bed and breakfast kind of, with not very good breakfast, but enough to keep you full till noon. Very tiny rooms, trust me on this one!!! Will not recomend and will not return. Location is OK if heading via Coliseum, but very bad is heading towards Termini Station.

We had bought the hotel stay through Expedia's unpublished rates and was quite worried about the negative reviews of the hotel but it was a very delightful Rome experience. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and it was surprising to see some ham/cheese/bread/cereal/fresh fruit/salad/ and the list goes on..
We even had a game of chess one night; we really enjoyed as if the place was our home. The metro was only 10 minute walk away from the hotel and quite safe even at night time.
It was a good 15 minute walk from the Terminal Station which was also convenient.
The front desk person was great help in arranging our last minute tour experience for the Vatican and the Sistine Chapel. We also brought out our morning coffee and enjoyed the Rome weather sitting in the patio just outside of the front entrance.
We were given two single beds put together as one which was a bit weird for newlyweds but we had the most relaxing and the sweetest sleep in Rome.

The decoration was very colourful paintings on walls with marble flooring in the common areas. The ceilings of the lobby and common areas are arched as if we were in some kind of cave which gave a little culture. If you are wanting to find a unique experience of Rome, I would definitely recommend you. I would definitely recommends my friends and family to stay here and will visit again.

I don't know if management posts funny reviews. I didn't like staying here and share all the bad reviews. You can hear the neighbours talk and the traffic outside. Maybe an OK hotel if you have severe hearing problems.

Walls a so thin, you can hear every noise!!! Personal is not really eager to help, however they do their job. In fact it is one or maximum 2 stars hotel! Nevertheless you pay tourist taxes as for a 4 star hotel.
On the other hand it was a cheap option to stay, good location and though breakfast was bit boring, it was fine.
